I allowed one of your members to upset me and I am afraid I became rather hateful. I apologize for my behavior and will endeavor to not do it again. I took it out on several people in several different questions and I should know better than to be a hypocrite in my own beliefs.

Seems a lot to me they are much like religious scholars that take the name of God in vain and taint the truth with the sweet sugar coated false promises and twisted lies to bait,influence, scare and herd the flocks into a justifiably moral direction . Do the means justify the end ? Does the end justify the means?

First off, I am asking a real question. this is not to piss anyoen off just to help me.

Prayer...Why do we do it?
If God already knows our path in life why do we pray? I have heard all my life things like " Lets pray for Sister Emma, she is sick in the hospital". What if we don't pray for her, will taht mean she does nto get better?

Some say taht you should pray that "God's will be done"...That does not make sense to me. He already knows what he is going to do.

What is teh diffrence between a Christian Prayer, Buddhist Chant or Wiccan Spell? Are tehy not all teh same things?

Some gays men act like themselves. But some purposely choose to act like the rudest and/or most obnoxious women out there.

Out of all the character traits to choose from, why the b*chiest women? I'm talking about the loud women that lack class, thats always dramatically shake their heads & wave their hands when they talk, & seem to want all the attention they can get. & every overly feminine body movement, is to get people to notice them.

Most importantly, they are usually rude to most people who don't fit in their type of click. Very passive aggresive for no reason. You see them as cashiers or waitresses sometimes, who aren't polite when you are polite to them. They don't look at you when they talk, or when you talk. Don't say your welcome when you say thankyou, or even say thankyou or have a good day like normal cashiers & waitresses are suppose to when after you leave.

Why do some gay men choose to act like this? Do they think it's cute?

It is the grandchildren of a friend, they are twins and 1 year old.I have seen the twins once, and the daughter does not keep in contact with me. Listed on the invitation are the toys she wants for the twins, and the ones she already has. They are expensive. So, here is the question, do I tell her mother I will buy what I want or not at all? Give her a gift certificate and tell her to go buy what she wants? I think that is so rude to list things like that. Like I do not have the sense to call and ask. And cost is a factor, I have only just gone back to work after a long abscence, and money is tight, I do not have $60 per kid for these toys. What do I do? I value the grandmothers friendship, but I hate to think that friendship is based on my gift buying potential.

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me with this religious dilemma.

I have recently been contacted by God ( allah) and, during a lengthy conversation he informed me that he would like me to be his chosen prophet here on earth. However he also said he wasn't willing to discuss how he arrived at this decision, because no-one would understand it.

This leaves me with a dilemma though. Obviously I am keen to take up the new role as chosen prophet but how do I know that it really was GOD who was speaking to me? There have been so many false prophets in the past and I'd just hate it if this happened to me, too.


Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm a college student looking to go out in my costume and consume "beverages" and hopefully get some laughs. But I want it to be really creative. A few years back I was Li'l Jon - that one was pretty good. I'm dating a 28 year old and i'm 19. I'm much older than my years but why is it that I can go to gay bars with friends but detest going with my fella. Is it possible that i'm homophobic or just jealous. Serious answers here. He has a past in the local area and I hate to see him dancing around like a queen. I'm quite comfortable with who I am but just don't like the scene. He's older so i'm trusting he's got it out of his system and might give it all up but.....

I know it's possible, but do you think it can really work?

I'm Catholic & he's Jewish. I don't see why we can't celebrate both religions & respective holidays, but unfortunately his family doesn't see it that way. I'm sure we'll work it out because neither one of us is strict with our religion. Thanks for your comments, now I can sleep!
