There is no sure shot solution to the problem you are referring to.
It is said that the difference between a patriot and a traitor depends on the side from which you are looking at him.The so called terrorist are heroes in their home land where as we see them as menace to society. To understand the problem you have to go to the root of it. No body takes up arms just for the heck of it. There are various reasons for people to indulge in terrorism.Be it religion or money or policies made by gov ts.
Take the example of Saddam Hussein or osama binladen these two were used by the us govt and when they where no longer useful they were discarded like obsolete hardware. Israel has occupied west bank and wont budge and us supports Israel because the us economy is run by Jews. Every thing has got a logical explanation for it and also a practical solution also but wested interests come in between and the problem is not solved but aggravated
They will not stop the war in the world because if they do so the arms manufactures will be living on dole.
so dint blame any religion or person or sect or country for it unless you understand the root of the problem.

One man's terrorist is another man's hero. As long as there are people who call "heroes" individuals or groups perceived elsewhere as "terrorists", there will always be terrorists because the admiring people provide the terrorists with safe haven and recruits. Take away the hero image, the terrorists will be defeated. This will require a new policy totally different from what this country has been conducting. There is no way you can kill all terrorists because there are always new ones to fill; moreover, in the process of hunting down and killing the terrorists, you will cause damage to the population and this will turn them against you, more recruits for the terrorists.

Quran is the manual of terror and Mohamad was a biggest terrorist of all time.He killed thousands of Jews of Bani Quraiza and Bani Nadir unarmed. He married with a 9 years old baby when he was 54. Muslims believe that non muslims are equal to feces and urine and unpure.Quran say kill non believer whereever your find them. This is an idealogy war not a physical war.Remove Islam from the face of the earth and this earth will be a paradise for ever. Terrorism is an expression of anger generally against state.
Its the outcome of wrong policies, suppression and incompetent governance. More we try to fight it the more stronger it becomes.
The best way to control it by correcting the causes.
We need to approach human beings with love and care. If we try to over power them it will backlash. Tit for tat doesn't give any positive outcome.

a lot of terroism is probably blowback from flawed US foreign policy . . .

the best way to control terrorism is to establish dialog with people and work collaboratively with other nations, instead of trying to dominate the world in an imperialistic fashion.

The terrorists who are caught should be publicly humiliated and given the capital punishment. Though another worst punishment is forcing to do some communal work like cleaning the roads, etc

The Oxford English Dictionary defines terrorism as "a policy intended to strike with terror those against whom it is adopted; the employment of methods of intimidation; the fact of terrorizing or condition of being terrorized."

I think the only way to beat it is not be afraid. Deal with it when it happens. Find and punish who ever did the terrorizing.

With all the centuries of conflicts, it seems impossible to wipe out the root causes of terrorism. I can't understand why Arabs and Israeli can't get along. Just as I can't understand what happened in the Balkans.

Killing off the leadership won't do it, they just choose another and go on.

this is tough!
positively, yes we can!
TERRORISM can't be stop by its roots.
the best thing we can do for now is to convince young terrorists for insubordination from their roots!
like media propaganda's, diverting them to a better life, educate them how to live harmoniously under whoever they worship to.
Internet can do help....let's show them love instead of wrist back.
maybe it's just a thin line between good and bad choice.
PEACE ON EARTH

I think the BEST way is to give into their demands. Believe in whatever god they want us to believe in and everything should be fine. But if u want the violent way, then bomb their homes, and take their weapons. Kill their leaders and all that follow them. And both seem/are impossible so therefor we're f*ck'd buddy =) But hey thanks for trying to find a solution to this problem. Sorry there isn't one though. Ta-Ta.
