Hi, I wonder if someone can help me with this religious dilemma.
I have recently been contacted by God ( allah) and, during a lengthy conversation he informed me that he would like me to be his chosen prophet here on earth. However he also said he wasn't willing to discuss how he arrived at this decision, because no-one would understand it.
This leaves me with a dilemma though. Obviously I am keen to take up the new role as chosen prophet but how do I know that it really was GOD who was speaking to me? There have been so many false prophets in the past and I'd just hate it if this happened to me, too.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Absolutely brilliant...lol! Although I'm sorry to tell you this but I got a call from God this morning, he asked me to tell you that he is sorry but he has changed his mind, he wants me to be his prophet instead...

If you are not sure, then it is not from Jehovah. There are many true prophets today, Acts 2:17-21, Rev. 11:1-13.
There are also false prophets, and demons speak to people, to fool them. Pray to the true God Jehovah for help, through Jesus. Best wishes..Tina

I can't wait to see which answer you pick as "best" from this lot!
I think you need to reach a wider audience so that you can let the world know of your arrival. Perhaps a myspace site would aid in teaching your wisdom to the masses?
By the way, your first act should be to sort out the Middle East, I hear it's in a right old state at the moment.

If you were called to be a prophet, you would have to go into seclusion and pray for a year. Fast and cleans yourself from every impurity so that you could hear God accurately before saying anything. However, a Chosen Prophet, as in the only one. It is not likely.
You are called to listen to God in your heart and to follow the teachings of Jesus. We are all called to ongoing conversion and to encouraging others to do God's will.

Are you sure you didnt drift off whilst watching TV?
It may well be that you were drowsing during an episode of Songs of Praise.
Failing that, if you are the next prophet, can you do something about these nutters in the middle east?

Do you have a soul that was created by the CREATOR OF ALL THINGS even before the CREATOR made the physical universe. The CREATOR spun these off of ITS own body and the sparks became the souls of ALL that was and will be.
SO even if you are to be a prophet . You are first only a small facet of the CREATOR.
Get your mind and body in touch with this facet that already knows the will and laws of GOD(Allah). And don't get a sweled head about it .look what happened to ST LUCIFER when that happened to HIM.

Seriously buddy.. take a " am I a screaming nutter" moment and ask yourself this..
Does god talk to me?
Am I wearing a tin foil hat?
Do all of my freinds disappear when "real" people come to check on me?
Does my name consist of a few numbers too?
Have most of my clothes been ordered with extra long arms?
If you are a prophet try a miricle or something? Maybe stop a train with your face?

Be patient sister, remember Moses was forty years as a shepherrd afetr he left Egypt, married and humble from a respected post to humility, be cool, if God did call you he will fashion you for his purpose, don't rush, peace love joy patience longsuffering self-control, and more you will have to learn, you will have to be an example if you are to be of God...
Why don't you test the voice, spirit, test it.... please ask questions, try it, you never know, i have voices, i do battle and i'm better for it.. God will watch over you if you seek him and his protection, don't let yourself be tricked there is much evil in the world, stay away from pride and read your BIBLE.....!! No Joke sister it'll heal your mind, don't be a hater, this'll be the test. Trust in the Lord jesus.

Hmm...I think the only way to TRULY find out is to jump off of a building. If you live, then you are the prophet. If you die, then you've done the world a favor.
P.S. The latter will happen...
