Did you notice how they all belive in the myth of jesus just because they're afraid of a non existent life in hell? Isnt that pathetic? How is being afraid of something that doesnt exist, like an after life or a god which both of which dont exist, how is that not pathetic? Sounds pathetic to me how about you

So many situations have come up over the centuries. Why does everyone just go off of something that has been re-written by so many men...? It seems as though they try to fit things that happened back then with the here and now... I do believe that religion is important. But I know the people on here preaching aren’t saints at all. I have heard this my entire life. Growing up with two brothers I had more rigid rules. I even hear it from my boyfriend. When I ask him things like how would you like it if I came in at 5 in the morning like you did that time, his reply would be "your a girl your not supposed to do that". I know that sometimes it is out of concern but sometimes its just plain sexist. How do you all feel about it? I am not accusing anyone of this I just don't understand. I don't feel weak or that I need to be protected all the time.

This is my opinion on god... Dont be offended... if you easily are.. then dont continue to read.

I want to know what people think of my following statements.
And dont tell me stuff like "cause hes all powerful" "true love" and "he will find you"

My grandad just resently died. He had no faith in god.. or anyother super all powerful somthing. God did not find him Mabey a split second before he died. But what kinda hope did that good lord give him throught out his life. Why wait till the end.. if at all even.

God has not found me. I can openly joke about his existance being fake.

Every time i talk about him not being real. some one religous almost pours out IN MY OPINION "stupid unreal crap" Its like trying to divide by zero. "god sees all and does all but cant make a hot dog so hot he cant eat it" "but he could cause hes all powerful" you see were i went with that one?

I think god is what people latch onto to accept there life on earth cause there mind cant stay open.

Does anyone else find it interesting that the more religous a person tends to be, the more irrational fears they tend to have.

Examples: homosexuality, psychics, ouija boards, magic, hell, deamons, ghosts, monsters, witchcraft...

More rational people seem to realize these things pose no threat to them where as some religious people will condemn the very thought of them.

I want an honest answer for the sake of knowledge and nothing more. I will not call anyone a racist because I know that my own boyfriend uses racist terms and I'm not white like him. I laugh at his jokes because I know he loves me and I love myself. Anyway, he told me that whites use racist terms behind minorities' backs. I always knew this was true, but I want people to finally admit it.

Does anyone know why some people take so long to resolve their questions? It almost seems like they've abandoned them, and just left them to their own devices. What if the Bush White House made a public request for the exact same changes the Clinton people have asked for, and publicized their request.

Would ABC still make the changes?

Woud people feel differently about the changes?

I think its stupid to think you can have reverse racism because of something that happened 150 years ago. Racism is wrong no matter what color your skin is. No offence, but there is not a black person alive today that went through slavery. I would just like them to stop acting like they did. Of course there is racism in the world today, but accept the fact that it is nothing like 1850. I am tired of everything being racist if something is not in a black mans favor. REAL CASE: I told someone I could not accept their card because it was not the same name on their D.L, "Yea I bet you would if I were white", and I catch two black girls trying to take money from a 12 year old white boy, , I stop them and they claim to the police that I was just being racist because I was keeping an eye on them when it happened. STOP PLAYING THE RACE CARD!. What does everyone else think, about anything to do with the issue. NO " WHITE PEROPLE DESERVE IT, OR WE DESERVE SPECIAL TREATMENT BECAUSE OF SLAVERY"
