If Jesus is God , how come he died on a cross ?!!!?

How come God dies ??!!
Also, when Jesus died on the cross ( as Christians say ) , who controlled the universe at that time since he was the Lord ?!!!

I can see that you are a person that have not been reading any bibical literature at all. How can you ask such a question. God-Jesus died to fulfill the mission of his father. God came down from heaven and lived this life in the form of man and sacrifice his son so that you may have eternal life. The universe then was controlled by God and now Satan rules the universe until Jesus returns and takes over. See here in this passage God astounds the mind of mankind, yet they keep trying to figure him out, yet they cannot not seem to fulfill the victory. God has given us the ability to test him. God says try, test and prove him. What are you waiting on. Stop this dilemna and ask him for yourself.

ok lets start off with he died on the cross to save you from your sins. next GOD controlled the universe when Jesus died, and Jesus is GOD, but he's GOD the Son. It's part of the whole trinity deal. GOD the Father(which we just call GOD), GOD the Son(which is Jesus), and then GOD the Holy Spirity(Which is the spirit that is recieved by Chrisitians when they ask Jesus to be their savior. I have answered this question many times, & I will again very short, Jesus was not God, but the Son of God, God can not & has not & will not die, God is The Great Eternal spirit. Jesus is the one that died, Not God, But God did dwell in Christ without measure. That body of Jesus is what died for our sins. The Son of God, & Not God. Just think how it would have been if GOD himself died, Satan will overtake everything because there would have been a void.

Well I believe that it was because Adam and Eve screwed us all when they did that stupid stuff in eden. I can't speak for God on why a blameless man had to die, but it had to be someone without sin so He could go into hell and get the saints (at least that's what i've been taught).
