And if you don't have a pet and find you are talking to yourself, should you get a pet so you don't seem so crazy?

They say talking to yourself is the sign of an organized mind. At least that's my story and I'm stickin' to it...I talk to my pets all the time, animals respond to the sound of the human voice. I believe they can understand voice inflections and learn to equate certain sounds with things like say, food. I mean if you ask your pet if she wants a treat; doesn't she respond in some way? Every animal I have ever had (I have had horses, dogs, and cats) understood, or seemed to understand words. So, go on talk to yourself and your pets, who cares if anyone things your crazy. Remember, "If you're not weird, you're not worth it".

I dont think it is crazy to talk to yourself or your pets. I think it is good that you let it out sometimes. You need to get it off your chest.

I talk to myself all the time. Especially when I am home alone and stuff. At first, it was weird, but I'm totally used to it. I've seen people talk to themselves while they are grocery shopping. Everyone is different and I don't feel either way is crazy at all.
