Since God likes to speak through man as in the bible,why is it not happening today with cures for the children at least.Why does the omnipotent God not make things better?

The Bible is specifically against magic, witchcraft, sorcery---any of that stuff.

Deut. 18:10-13
Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God.

2nd Chronicles 33:6
He sacrificed his sons in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced sorcery, divination and witchcraft, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, provoking him to anger.

(obviously these things--witchcraft, etc--is angering the Lord)

I have heard arguments arguing in favor of creationism that ask, "If God didn't create the universe, how did all matter come into existance? After all, the Big Bang allegedly started with already-existant matter concentrated into a small space before an explosion."

I want to hear responses to the reverse question: If God created the universe, who created God and where did he come from?

Obviously you have a space ship.....you have traversed the entire Universe and proven there " is no God ". How did you examine all those planets and galaxies and find Him non existant ? Why havent you told NASA about ur inter galactic travels so we can all move to Mars ? Arent you being selfish by not sharing your knowledge of space travel ? ...in the bible that the ability to divorce was given to us because our hearts were "hard" or something like that.

Sooo...this means that if a person chooses to divorce their spouse for physically abusing them or for committing adultery, then he/she is sinning for protecting themselves or ridding themselves of a spouse that disobeyed a commandment? That doesn't seem right.

I know God wants us to forgive everyone their transgressions and their sins and, of course, that would apply to our spouses, too. You can forgive a person all the time and they can still beat the tar out of you or cheat on you everyday. Why would God punish or blame someone who didn't want to go through that all the time?
