They did not apologize because the Jews did not crucify the person you in retrospect all "Jesus". The story and the crucifixion were a gigantic lie. There was no Jesus.
In the lower heavens of Atmospherea, a certain Falsegod, wanted to steal all the power from the Real Creator, the Great Spirit and he ;got armies of spirits to help him wage a war....and inspire mortals to fight a war. it was done. It actually happened. Part of it is writtn in the US history books. The entire thing is written in a book you can buy, titled OAHSPE. Its a 900 page book and this is only a part of it. It is worth your time to read. And worth your money to buy. You can get a paperback copy for about $22. Jesus personality was taken after Joshu, in history. Hesus was voted first name. Kristos the last time, and it got shortened, refined changed to Jesus Christ. The lie has gone on for such a long time and the character is honestly loved by so many fine people and lovely families that its hard to crush peoples dreams, but on the other hand it is not right to lie so much about something that matters to so many people either. People have a right to better. Where can you get this book. Try bookstores.

how can you possible find no contradiction in believing that jesus sacrificed his life for humanity, and that it was the jews who killed him?

and anyways, to answer your question, most jews do not believe jesus ever existed. so why would we apologize? as well, jesus was a lawbreaker and an anarchist according to the new testament, and since he decided to remain in a country while continuing to break all of its laws, then the courts obviously had a right and an obligation to do something about it, just like any modern court has the right to mete out sentences to be people who break the laws of modern countries. if you don't like the laws of the land, you move to another land.

Why don't you apologise for asking stupid questions? I'm not a jew but I don't get suckered into the belief, that sole responsibility should be placed on people who had nothing to do with it. It was over two thousand years ago and Christiandom and what not have moulded the truth of what has happened to suit themeselves. Why should the sins of the father be visited upon the son.

Jesus knew he was going to die from the moment he arrived on earth. That was his fate and, if you believe in him, was the greatest gift he gave the world- he died for your sins so that you might achieve eternal salvation.

So what exactly would anyone have to apologize for since that was in the cards from the very beginning and was essential for him to rise again?

Let's set aside for the moment that the Jews didn't crucify him, the Romans did.

The people who crucified Jesus weren't sorry. Only people who have remorse apologize.

Jews, Romans, whatever.... It is sufficient to say that people killed Jesus, remembering too that no person (not even those who loved him best) tried to save him.

It was also under the influence of the Romans, they actually performed the act. Jesus was betrayed by the Jews. Same scenario when the French turned on their own people to appease the NAZI rulers. All cowards

Why didn't The Church apologize for burning all those witches? Or for the Inquisition? In the eyes of the jews, Jesus was blaspheming by saying he was the son of God and the Messiah. It was their law and he broke it. Also, if he was preordained to die that way, then the jews did what they were meant to do.

No, it wasn't the Jews who killed Jesus. It was you and me who crucified Jesus. He came to earth to die for our sins. It was part of God's plan. So, it doesn't make any sense to blame the Jews for killing Jesus. Jesus laid down his life; it wasn't like it was a tragedy that Jesus died. I for one am glad that he died.

The Sanhedrin conspired, The Romans committed the act, the crowds refused to call for his release.......... Everybody crucified Jesus... Even you, your sins, and mine, are why he allowed it to happen.
