Now were did you come up with that?
I do not believe there is a god in any way or form. Why would I need to fly through space or time to be an atheist? I don't feel we will ever know for sure how it all started and we will never know what happens after death. However till there is proof other wise I feel when you die you are dead and there is no god of any kind and the bible is just old stories that was told and written down.
All myth.. nothing more. But I do believe there is life out there. I hope they taste good.. Yummy. Maybe we could trade them some KFC for some space chicken. I'm into new food..

That's sad. You don't even understand what atheists believe. Instead you are just regurgitating what other theists say about atheists in order to make themselves feel superior to atheists.
First, atheists are generally educated in logic enough to know that it is impossible to prove a negative. Can you prove that there there is no Santa Claus, no Tooth Fairy, no small teapot in orbit aound the sun? No, and we can't prove there is no god either.
We simply state that the God of the Hebrew Bible deserves no more belief than any other mythical gods that you dismiss. Do you really belief the story of Genesis, which is so blatantly contradicted by our modern knowledge of physics, cosmology, astronomy, and geology? Do you believe the story of Noah, or of Job? If you do, what makes you think those stories are believable, but the myth stories of other cultures are not believable? I claim it is only because you grew up in a culture where (nearly) everyone grew up believing those stories.
Now, some atheists are hard core, and disbelieve in the possiblity of any kind of creator of the universe, whereas others (like myself) are more agnostic. I admit it is mind boggling that anything exists at all. I can see why most people settle with the answer that "God created the universe". But I don't see how that answer helps in any way, because it just leaves the question: what created God? If you answer "God always existed", then I ask how is that answer any better than saying "the universe always existed"?
Deists believe that there is a supernatural creator of the universe, but that the Bible's description of God is wrong. I have no problem with that belief.
Some Christians are open-minded enough to recognize that most of the stories in the Bible must be allegorical at best, and recognize that the separation of church and state in the U.S. Constitution is a good thing. I get along with them pretty well too.
However, the U.S. has a lot of self-righteous egomanical Christians who have tasted power by uniting with the Republican party, and are working towards tearing down the separation of church and state, and are longing for Armageddon to happen. These Christians are crazy and a danger to both the U.S. and the rest of the world, and need to be resisted by all reaonable people.

Ummmm....for starters, some humans HAVE left Earth and been to the moon and in orbit around the Earth. Or do you believe that little bit of science is a lie too, like evolution? Furthermore, what makes you think that God is a person, hanging out on Mars or Alpha Centauri? It shows me you have less of a realistic picture of God then I do, and I dont even believe in him/her/it!

So you are questioning Atheist beliefs? Can I ride in your space ship? No spaceship also? Guess we're both in the same boat (or spaceship) then? Not exactly, because your theories for the existence of god are supported by an old book. Our theories are supported by the fact that you have no proofs. We just don't believe in it, it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, but we decided that until you can muster proof that it does we will not establish it as reality. The burden of proof is not on us and we do not say that there is no God, we just decide not to believe that there is one.
BTW, work on your sarcasm, it's not that good.

You are deluded but believe what you want. Why waste your time on being rude . I can't see how this benefits you in any way. It certainly doesn't demonstrate the Christian virtues you no doubt espouse perhaps use as a smokescreen for your own inadequate nature. Or maybe it makes you feel less insecure when the fact is that there is no God and the first and last Christian died on the Cross at Golgotha.

Straw man argument. Issue isn't proof, issue is reason. Flip the Q - how do you know there IS a god? Is your imagination and sense of curiosity so small that you can only posit existence as the result of someone or something thinking it all up?
I'm not an atheist, but your question is small-minded and stupid.

you dont understand a lack of a belief in a god and the statement there is no god. I am sure you have looked all over the universe and found that zues doesnt exist? Or do you simply lack a belief in Zues?
The lack of belief in a god is based on the lack of proof of your god. Everyone is basically an atheist you just have 1 more god then atheist do.

I understand your pain and suffering, but it's not your fault that you suffer from mental illness. Religious believers suffer from a common mental illness.
If we assume the universe was created, then it’s reasonable to assume there was a creator. That’s as far as science has progressed today, but just look how far religion has progressed.
Religion states (fact) there was a creator called God, that God still exists, God also created places called Heaven & Hell, God wrote an instruction book called the Bible, God will banish evil people to Hell, God will send good people who follow the Bible to heaven, that people referred to in the Bible (like Jesus) will return to Earth, and a whole raft of other statements of fact. That’s right, religious fact, not assumptions.
Now tell me truthfully, if science doesn’t even know yet whether the universe was created or not, but religious believers state: “not only was the universe created by God, here’s a whole lot more proof and facts to go with it, what do you think?
Either religious believers just have vivid imaginations or suffer from a common mental illness. I think commonsense and logic would suggest that religious believers are mentally handicapped.

There is no proof that the Judeo-Christian-Islamic desert god exist. Oh, news flash dude Jesus ISN'T God, and he's been dead for about two millenia, so I doubt you saw him. BTW: if you were to REALLY read your Bible you'd see that no one has EVER seen Jehovah/ YHWH/Allah. I won't bring up my many gods and goddesses, or gods from other religions, but dude unless you can produce a photo of you and Jesus( or Jehovah) I'm not going to believe you.
