I am really noticing that within descriptions of sexuality it is increasingly a case of people no longer sticking to being simply gay/straight, but people like to further define their sexuality by saying for example (excuse me here Randy) G0Y or even dikes as oppose to lesbians. Why the need to always redefine your own sexual identity? Why not just be happy being who you are without definition?

We must never compromise, relent, give up, submit to our enemies. We must always keep to the Islamic path, jihad in the name of Shariah, and never be apologetic.So I agree that we must never be apologetic about being called 'radicals' today. I'm not racist. But it seems to me that when white people say they want their children to marry inside their own race they are considered racist but when black people do it, it's because they want to honor their own race by doing so. Do you think this is a double standard. Also. Ive heard of other races who proudly say their parents would kill them if they brought a white guy home and its laughed about like a joke. If I were to say that I would be considered a racist.

The Bible says "all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men, except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" .

So what about women? If "men" was meant to be a term encompasing both sexes - - why does it not say forgive unto humanity? Or forgiven unto all beings?

Ok... First of all let me assure you that i am not mocking, i really want to try this.

I need as many christians as possible to pray that i get struck by lightning sometime this weekend. I know, that sounds extreme but the odds of it happening purely by chance within that window make it the optimal candidate for this kind of test.

For control purposes only christians should pray for this, and i would like as many of you as possible to spread this through the christian community so that i have as many people praying possible. Also, please don't pray that i DON'T get struck by lightning... that could possible confuse god and screw up the results.

If you plan to pray for the experiment please answer with weather or not you will pray, what you might say, and how often you will pray... for statistics purposes.

Just think, if i do happen to get struck by lightning this weekend that's pretty strong evidence that prayer is effective. So give it your all!

As many people know empathy is the ability to feel anothers emotions and pain even if you have never felt it before. Not to be mistaken with sympathy. My grandmother has it, all her kids have it, and now all the grandchildren have it. My grandmother is of course the strongest of all the empaths, she can even sense how a person is who is really far away, even hear their thoughts. The grownups can feel when another person is in love, or happy, or excited, if they're right next to them or in the same room. Not me or my cousins, we can only feel another persons pain, or sadness, anger, low self esteem, we got all the bad things and the feelings don't leave you alone, they stay with you till the end of the day. Is there anyone out there who can help? I really hate this and I want it gone.

Being aware of the spectacular mysteries of the universe, I have been led to a firm belief in the existence of a higher power. I cannot envision this whole universe coming into being with all its precise laws and so forth without something like divine will. As I see it, science and religion, properly understood, are not antagonistic pursuits. It is indeed quite logical that science, evolving through the ages, is merely giving us greater and greater insight into just how perfect and complex the creation of the universes truly is.

This leads to my question. Why is it that so many view science and religion as opposing viewpoints? I often wonder if it is the fault of the Bible, a book written by brilliant philosophers during a time when science could explain little. Followers of the Bible seem unwilling to accept that explanations given 2000 years ago could perhaps be limited by the limited knowledge and perception of those in that time. Is it time to update the Bible?

Lets say we have twins that are seperated from birth, one becoming christian and the other pagan. Both very strong in their beliefs. If their roles were reversed- they would have different beliets. Anyway my question is this; do you think the way you are raised influences your beliefs? If you take a hard core religious person and had the "power" to see how they would grow up in a different setting - do you think they would still follow the same path? Or is everyone influenced by their surroundings?

I hope I'm saying this clearly.....?
