I am really noticing that within descriptions of sexuality it is increasingly a case of people no longer sticking to being simply gay/straight, but people like to further define their sexuality by saying for example (excuse me here Randy) G0Y or even dikes as oppose to lesbians. Why the need to always redefine your own sexual identity? Why not just be happy being who you are without definition?

Thanks bearlicious for that observation - for those who don't fully understand the question reading that answer might either serve to confuse!! or clarify my point!

I heard the term used by a fellow G0Y to describe guys who are so obvious in their mannerisms, that you know what their "all about". In the "STR8" realm, a MANSLUT is in search of the FeMALE SLUT (both make it obvious what they're "look'n for"). In the gAy realm, the MANKhUNT is a guy who acts the role of a FeMALE SLUT (in varying degree) & ultimately presents his **** as a proxy-khunt. It's easy to see how a gender-bending persona fits well into such a culture of delusion. It's a culture that is for the most part, - degrading to masculinity & repulsive to G0YS. When people call the MANKhUNT-culture to account for it's 'sin of slutdom', it stands defiantly in leather straps & on high-heels yelling: "HomoPhobic!". Of course, as guys in2 guys -- the assertion of "homophobia" is clearly ridiculous. It's not "HomoPhobia" (which by definition is the 'fear of sameness'); -- It's "LocoPhobia" (the 'fear of the delusional'). My friend observed that if such MANKhUNTS were chickens -- they'd take a sh*t & insist it was an egg! Omelet's anyone?

maybe I'm getting old....but I agree with you. I am who I am...maybe sometimes I'll refer to myself as a dyke...but I usually, just simply, call myself a lesbian. why so many varying labels? and, excuse for sounding ignorant, because I've only seen the term in here and never heard anyone else use it (or again, maybe I'm getting old), but what is a g0y?

I for one hate labels. The gender I'm attracted to depends on what day it is and who the person is. I know what I like in sex, in life, religion, and food and so on. When ever people try to label me, I say, "no, not really I like this but not that." It like a fad, people who spend a ton of cash on something just because of the name are to rich or dumb. You can buy a brand because you know its a good brand, but stop there. If you find something you enjoy do it, as long as you aren't hurting anyone, live your life.

People always need to define things - that's what makes us essentially stupid!
