People are ignorant about other religions. Also people watch the media and associate the negativity with the war with the religion. Instead of associating the religion with actual knowledge of the religion. Christians have also killed in the name of religion as well as others the crusades were some of the most bloody wars ever. I appreciate all religions and the knowledge that each gives.
I was raised Buddhist by one side of the family and christian by the other and was taught to RESPECT ALL religions. They each have something very precious to give the world.

Muslims control the so called "Holy Land" of the Jews which has been claimed by the Christians even though no Christians ever lived there or had anything to do with it, same as their claim on the Hebrew Torah. The Jews don't have any right to it either since their historical lands are the Sinai Desert. The Jews only claim is a few lines in the Torah written by propagandists around 600 BCE in order to claim a god-given right to the lands. But it's all a fraud. All three religions.

Hello;
I think you mean trash, one too many letters. I am a Christian, I don't hate you or any other Muslim. I am trying to increase my understand of your faith. Unfortunately, in today's climate members of this religion continue to receive negative comments.
Most of the world puts Muslim's in the terrorist category. There one sided actions have tarnished the image of decent Muslim people worldwide. Guilty by association unfortunately.
Some years ago, during a hostage crisis in the Middle East, Iranians were on the hit list.
A lack of understanding is to be blamed. Although Catholics should remember and repent of the deeds done by that church not only to Muslims, but Jews and Protestants.
I am sorry you and yours are now the receivers of so much criticism. I wonder how Westerners and Europeans would feel if they were on the hot seat, and receiving all that negative input.
I wish you well.

Not all Christians hate Muslims and not all Americans hate them either. I'm a Christian and an American, and I don't hate anyone who has never harmed me. The people who hate Muslims are more than likely ignorant (lack the basic knowledge to make a sound judgement based on facts) about the Musslim community. They are judging all Muslims by what they know of a few individuals. You can't do that about any group of people.

Christians don't.
The tennants of Christianity don't allow for vengeance or harboring hate. There is an example in the bible that every christian is taught about Jesus being struck, then turning his cheek other cheek so that his attacker could strike him again. It is the moral that hatred teaches its own lesson to those who hate.
It's difficult to be a Good Christian. Some would say too difficult. Humans are hurt by the tragedy and loss of the Iraq war and the events of 911 and it's difficult for them to move on. Their hatred or spite has nothing to do with the religion they aspire to follow.

There are tiny minds and little souls to be found in any group of people. I'm sorry you've been subjected to hate mail.
"Christians" don't hate "Muslims," though. We (Christians) aren't one big, homogeonous group, any more than Muslims are. If all Christians agreed about everything, there would only be one Christian church - and there are many. Even within a church, not every individual agrees with every other.
Hate is contrary to the beliefs at the core of the Christian faith. Christ preached love and forgiveness, and called the faithful to love all of God's creation. Unfortunately, humans are imperfect, prone to fear, which gives rise to hatred.
The mail you're getting doesn't represent the Christian faith, any more than terrorists represent the Muslim faith. What you're seeing is frightened people screaming at what they don't understand. In time, those people will find something else they're afraid of to focus on.
I am Christian, and I do not hate you.

They hate each other equally. For example, the current war on terror is just another Holy War. Lots of Americans still believe that Iraq was involved in 9/11 although Iraq had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11 and the media rhetoric to justify the invasion in the first place was nothing more than a politically orchestrated litany of lies. That's religion for you.
President George W Bush has made it clear that he reads the Bible, prays to God, and that God told him to invade Iraq. Very recently he referred to the USA’s war against terror as a war against Islamic Fascists. The other side, the Islamic Fascists, of course refer to G W Bush and the USA as Christian Infidel Dogs and so the Holy War of Words goes on, like the Axis of Good (Christianity) at war against the Axis of Evil (Islam).
The above is quite mild to all the evil religious words being thrown by each side, but of course, it doesn’t stop there does it. The same sides, Christianity and Islam, are physically at war with each other, murdering innocent men, women and children in the process.
Humanity has a horrific track record of atrocities and killing caused by religion, and this war seems to be no different, just another Holy War in the name of religion, inflicting it’s madness once again onto humanity. Religion is so evil, it has even infected the President of the United States of America.

Im a Christian, but I don't hate muslims. I don't agree with the religion, and I don't like all the terrorist activity either, but these are in the minority, and people of all races do wrong. As Christians we must love the person, but not the sin whoever they are, whatever race, or creed.
God Bless you!

I'm Christian and I don't hate Muslims. Not all Christians do. They might not agree with their ways but they do not hate them. There are some Christians I am sure that hate everyone, they are only human. If that is the case they are not abiding by what they are taught
