Aha! For those of you who don't know how a scientific theory is different from the common usage of the word "theory," why is Jesus having "passion"? I thought that lusty thoughts were a sin! And you all maintain he wasn't married, so it's not the acceptable wife-passion. How can you ignore this obvious problem with the theory of Jesus?

It seems like many people answer (or refuse to answer) as if they think God is watching and judging them. Agree? Some people will not answer a hypothetical question if their life depends on it, if the answer might not impress God. It reminds me of how people dislike the Last Temptation of Christ, which explores "how would Jesus, with the weaknesses of a normal man, wrestle with the responsibility of being divine?" People will not accept the premise so they will not consider it.

So, if that is what's going on in answers, where the rest of us can be wild and crazy in our anonymity, how restricted must these people feel in their daily lives? What an incredible strength of control to keep people in line when only God is watching...

Our family's Baptist pre-meal prayer was always relevant to the day's events or guests. My married family is Catholic and they have the same prayer for every meal that begins "In the name of the Father . . ." How do people of other religions pray before meals?

courts thinks so. Hearsay rules make it probable that a child's disclosure will not be heard by a court of law and all allegations are hearsay unless they meet the five rules, outside the exception rule. The next time you think your child is safe from having to visit with their parent who they say has touched them in this way, think again.
