Have you ever seen this little webpage?

Simple, logical, something they might actually comprehend.

The common usage of the word "theory" is not "lusty thoughts." The word "passion" has a myriad of definitions of common uses. Passion can refer to an intense emotion ranging from love and affection to anger to drive to suffering. The "Passion of the Christ" could easily be interpreted as the love "Godly love", or "agape" or as suffering. If you saw the movie you would certainly see the suffering aspect.

Lay people often misinterpret the language used by scientists. And for that reason, they sometimes draw the wrong conclusions as to what the scientific terms mean.
Three such terms that are often used interchangeably are "scientific law," "hypothesis," and "theory."
In layman’s terms, if something is said to be “just a theory,” it usually means that it is a mere guess, or is unproved. It might even lack credibility. But in scientific terms, a theory implies that something has been proven and is generally accepted as being true.

Passion is a word that describes a feeling I take it as meaning that Jesus had such passion for all of Gods ppl so he gave up his own life to save us that is what it means it is not the kind of passion you are thinking of it just means He loves us more than life not the kind of lust that most ppl think about when they talk about passion it is true love like a brother and sister family love not gay not like a partner not sex not lust only HOLY LOVE PURE Love GOD LIKE LOVE THAT IS WHAT THEY MEAN That is just the title for a movie that one man wrote and directed he chose the name and that is not even want the bible says so why do you want to say bad things about God's son I feel sorry about you and where you are going to send eternity cause you are saying bad things about Jesus! He was not just a man and He did not sin he was 100 perfect God/man! If Satan did temp him he did not sin any way he did not sin at all!!! and you can keep from sinning to if you ask God for help but you want to sin!!! you don't want to give up your sin so you will end up in hell!!! you won't even read the bible to know the true i feel sorry for you!!!

His passion was to stay on the spiritual path that he had found and did it even to his demise at the hands of the jealous religious leaders who could not wait to get rid of him, so that their kingdom wasn't threatened.

Passion is not a theory, and you are confusing your idea of what passion means with what the Passion of Christ really is....

there's just a creator of the universe.
everything else is open to conjecture.
jesus buddha vishnu jehovah and allah/mohammed are not god
they are demgogues.
if we closed their temples dedicated to our subservience, we would find our true selves as private intelligent beings. our wars would largely end and we could own our future. until we remove the shackles of religion and these demogogues from our planet we are as nothing but sheep (just like the 'bible' makes clear)
we will not advance or improve.
