This goes in this section do to the often stated christian claim that atheists have no hope. (Just do a google search for atheist and hope.)

What the hell are they talking about? And any atheists here want to refute it?

Hope can have everything to do with God or something you find within yourself.
Hope is what makes you get up after you fall on your face for 100th time. Hope keeps you breathing when things are painful and life is a struggle.
Hope is what you look back on when you have made it through tough times and you realize what got you through.

Its good have a lot of hope in the world today. It's what makes are life go around in circles. That way we have something to look forward to. When we get in the morning, we all greet the morning sun with a bad or good feeling in the morning.
I always have the best out look on life. Or what ever I have to do in the morning. I always tell my kids hope is with around the corner. So be good. That what it means to have hope. Just making sure you have life is hope.

Atheists believe in one thing, themselves. The concept of atheistism is self centerism. Its the focus of self and what one can do for self. Atheist don't believe in God or even a higher power because of the accountability they would have to show. Maybe a change in lifestyle or attitude. I think that Atheists can achieve a mild centered hope that is earthly bound. Atheists can't understand HOPE in its pure form. Hope this helps.

Hope is the repentance and forgiveness of grief through shock, denial, anger, guilt, depression, and loneliness after an instance of witness in life. Hope makes its promise that things will be better after grief.

Oh yeah, they can hope all they want to but without God there is no hope. They might get some temporal things they hoped for out of life but the eternal things are of God.

hope has nothing to do with religion. its just the will to deny defeat when it stares u straight in the eye. im an athiest and if i didnt have any hope at all then i would likely be in therepy for being so pesimistic.
