Recently, I have been having conversations with two close friends. The just happen to be speaking to me from my vents and closed behind closed doors.

Lack of sleep and some "recreational activities" may be a slight issue.

I am being serious here. I feel as if I am talking to my subconcious. It is as if my thinking is outloud in a way. I think something and these people that are talking to me (voices that I hear) are answering my questions in my head before I even ask them. They know what I am thinking, feeling, doing (even under the covers-emotions, looks, etc). They know all my secrets, they know my entire life. Secrets even no one else would know.

I don't want answers for this that involves schizophrenia or drug abuse. I also would appreciate you keeping your highly religious remarks to yourself as well. Just plz don't be a smarty pants! :( I want REAL, spiritual type answers. plz,

Hi!

A friend of mine is visiting from Europe. She was telling me that she has been trying for years to find the meaning and/or history of her last name... Höntzsch

It can also be spelled Hontzsch or Hoentzsch...

I cannot find a meaning anywhere... I have tried multiple websites. The name is fairly popular, but no meaning... no translation...

So... do any of you know the meaning of the name Höntzsch or where it comes from? Any people good with name Etymology? :)

Where did the matter that caused the big bang come from? and if you have an answer, Where did its matter come from...and where did its matter’s matter come from …... could go on forever. (TO ALL FAITHS)..Given that we now know a lot more about the mind-boggling size of "everything", y`know the universe and all.... do you still think one being could have done all that and still be provincial enough to watch our every move... would a more regional deity not be a more practical idea?

If you believe God created the world, it's reasonable to ask, How did he do it? What were the forces and mechanisms he used? Why not look to science and see that he started with the big bang, the force of gravity, inflationary cosmology, quarks and natural selection. Those were his tools. To that extent, science is not a threat, it's your best friend. It's the best tool you have for illuminating the grandeur of creation. A Hubble Space Telescope photograph of the universe evokes far more awe for creation than light streaming through a stained glass window in a cathedral. I mean, come on, that photo is an actual representation of the reality that God created, if that's what you believe. So why not embrace science rather than fear it?

In my short time here in the Religion & Spirituality section I have witnessed so much STUPIDITY and HATE being perpetrated by Atheists and Theists (usually Christian and/or Muslim) against each other. I've seen the majority of the arguments of both sides and I have concluded that when it comes to attacking and defending against each other, many of the Atheists and many of the Theists are all full of crap!!!

Can't we just sit down and talk intelligently and stop trying to insult and force crap (both theists and atheists are guilty of this...) down each other's throats?

Love God above everything

Do not judge non-believers - that is God's job
Do not judge people weaker in faith
Do not judge people who express their genuine faith differently to you - it is up to God whether or not they succeed
Do not judge yourself - God will let you know if you slip up.
Let no-one judge you according to meat or drink, religious festivals or sabbaths.
Judge only those that claim to be Christians but are immoral. in which case do not even eat with them

All of a sudden she says she has these convictions from God. We have been living together and all of a sudden she says that she still wants to date me, but wwe can't have sex until we are married.

I think that since she started it that way that she should keep it going that way and care about how I feel.

I mean what is just a little while longer of having sex? No big deal right? God will forgive her? We are getting married soon so she should just keep having sex with me.
