In my short time here in the Religion & Spirituality section I have witnessed so much STUPIDITY and HATE being perpetrated by Atheists and Theists (usually Christian and/or Muslim) against each other. I've seen the majority of the arguments of both sides and I have concluded that when it comes to attacking and defending against each other, many of the Atheists and many of the Theists are all full of crap!!!
Can't we just sit down and talk intelligently and stop trying to insult and force crap (both theists and atheists are guilty of this...) down each other's throats?

To lostcause8436...I never said atheists shouldnt be here...in fact I appreciate some of their questions and comments. Sad news is that certain atheists come online just to insult us theists, while certain theists come here to spit stupidity at all of us...

To Kuve... I see the wisdom in your answer...(jaw drops)...
Even if I were to make peace...there will always be little if any guarantee that the intolerants will follow...

Unfortunately it is never gonna happen, even when u try and ask an honest question it gets misinterpreted and u get insults in stead of answers, but good luck.

the reality is that amongst the theists as you call them it is there belief that only one of them is right. And so the other is obviously wrong. as opposed to an atheist who think they are both full of crap. the whole middle east thing is being driven as much by oil as religion. you will forgive me for wishing that at least one of there respective gods if any existed would put in an appearance and solve all the issues. of course the other part of the problem is those of us who are not driven by religious stupidity will be dragged in to fight a war for nothing because that is what will be left by the time the 3 major religious power brokers have sorted out who is right.

that is very unlikely to happen. religion is a hot button issue, for both sides.
for the first poster....the reason Atheists are here in this "section" is because theists ask questions TO atheists, not just to fellow theists..so perhaps..if you don't want Atheists here..stop asking question about them, or TO them.

i just dont understand how some people think that atheists dont have a right to be here. its a religion/spirituality forum. atheism may not be a religion, but it is a belief, nonetheless, with as much right to be here, as christianity.

No, we cant because first of all I dont understand why atheist want to debate with believers about a God? this is so weird to me.... You dont believe so why are you here in the RELIGION/SPIRTUALITY section of answers? I can understand Muslims and Christians debating but the atheist... Well that's plan strange.... If we could prove to you physically that there was a God would you then believe? I just dont understand

Your question supports my suggestion that an individual's religious beliefs belong in the hearts, in their homes, and in their church. They need not be worn on their sleeves or broadcast through a loudspeaker.

Intelligent discussions on religion are seldom possible.
Too much an emotive issue.

As a Pagan I can only sorrow on your hate filled agenda. It takes only one person to make war, it takes everyone to make peace. When you, not someone else, you, are ready to make peace, there will people ready to meet with you. I will be there cheering.
