be still and know He is God. wait and quiet your mind. When he speaks to you it will line up to the word of God.

I believe the response is immediate... right after a prayer, there's a feeling in me.. or a fleeting thought. THAT is God's answer. But it's all in belief, i guess. If we're praying for success, but a have a bad feeling, we may not accept that as an answer, because we're looking for a "yes". Prayers are always answered. Sometimes, the answer is "No".

Fasting and prayer. At least thats what HE tells us.
But for the life of me I dont know how anyone hears Him with all the:
tv
radio
cars bumpin
kids yellin
spouses screamin
dogs barking
street noise
xbox goin all the time
phones ringin
neighbors harpin
terrorists bombin
buildings fallin
huricane winds blowin
gas pumps spinning
heat wave blazin
bill money flowing
boss screamin
and then you come home and crash into bed to just get up to it all again another day!
God help us! Amen!
I wish everyone peace! :)

In your own actions. If you accept your higher power and the world as it is rather than what you want it to be, and allow God to work through you, then your prayer is answered.

You can't hear his reply. However, you can notice it. You can only see it (assuming he feels you need whatever it is you're asking for). Whether it's asking for a better car, or asking for guidance for your grandmother, you just have to wait see if it's his will. God know's best, though it might not always seem like it. Just trust in him and he'll provide you with whatever you need.

I don't think you'll actually hear them, maybe one day out of the blue, you'll notice your prayer has been answered. And i think only the important ones will be answered. He knows what's best for us.

thank you for this question. I definitely could no longer believe that somebody mentioned that in the time of their answer. besides i recognize God hears my prayers and that i'm Catholic. What kills me is they (Protestants alongside with Fundamentalist/Evangelical, "Born returned") types ask for persons to wish for them it is looking intercession yet of guy at the same time as us Catholics do the comparable subject yet with the saints and the Blessed mom.

If you really believe in god you will see him and his answers in every thing around you. personally I think it's better not to look for signs of god, but just be a nice person and the people around you will support you. Do your best to achive your goals have faith in yourself and the people you care about.
