Turk means "strong" in Old Turkic. I guess you mean this and not all the names in all nations!

I'm not sure about every nation. However, all the countries with "stan" at the end translates to "land of" so Afghanistan would be land of the Afghans. And Canada comes from the Native word "Kanata" which means village. Good luck with the rest.
