To follow Jewish customs is to accept the curse of the old law and likely end up in hell.

Jewish customs do nothing for either Jews or Christians.

Jesus instituted the new covenant in his blood. All the old things have passed away.

Only in Christ is true salvation to be obtained.

St Paul was talking about 'customs' with a small 'c'. We have been following their major customs since inception of Christianity. We believe in One God, in fact, the same Hebrew God. We believe in fasting. We believe in tithing, an extension of bringing the first fruits to the Lord. We believe in prayer, in constantly keeping God in the forefront of our minds. We believe in charity and love of our neighbors as ourselves. The list goes on...

Jesus was jewish!
Jesus said "I am not here to change the Laws, I am here to fulfill them."
The Laws state that we are to observe all things jewish. Even the holidays and rituals. The only thing that was to change in fact was the burnt offerings but only after Jesus died because He then became the sacrifice....for our sins.

Plain n simple,lol. Peace! :)

jews have persecuted christians and christians have persecuated muslims and muslims have persecuted jews. round and round we go....
the fact is that religious conflicts are the worst because you are attacking/criticising the core of someone's beliefs. everything they have founded their lives on is being questioned. of course you will get angry about this. they are defending their beliefs because they are afraid it could turn out to be untrue. everyone is afraid of that. of believing so blindly and without question. that leap of faith is specifically necessary in order to believe. but it makes belief a fragile thing.
i am not of any religious affiliation, but was raised catholic, studied philosophy and political science my whole life. what i have come to believe is nothing. negative, or apophatic, theology to be specific. it is, in a nutshell, that god is greater than all things. that god in not human and therefore outside the realm of human understanding. we are not able to know god. we can know god exists through the world and creation and life and love, but we can never know god's essence. everytime we try to describe him, intellectualize him, understand him we grow farther away from him.
we just need to kind of forget everything we think we know about god. quit acting like we know the answers to god. just know he exists somehow, someway. but don't think you know him.
religion is just a construct of man. no matter what spin you put on it. man created religion. it is fallible

Customs and traditions are just that! they have noting to do with Christianity. Why don't you read and STUDY the Bible? I challenge you to do so.
