Were I to allow myself the luxury of denial from some basic, fundamental truths, in order to consider this a possibility, then I would have to say no.
Quite simply because if there WAS a God, it would make the act of our existence an absurdity in the highest extreme, making for a self-centred view of the world, where ultimately all that really mattered would be the salvation of MY soul, with justice and freedom of will being non-existent, replaced instead by a primative view where we are nothing but toys, or pieces on a great board-game, to be shuffled around and played with without thought to consequence, according to the desire of a deific mentality of contradicting ideals and imbalanced judgments.
That would also be ignoring the fact that such an entity would have thought it ridiculously wise to impose a sense of guilt into it's creations for having basic, naturally existing ideals that go against it's own. The fact that we are born with naturally occuring ideals and morals, to then have to feel ashamed for such things, simply because "it is written", goes beyond a sense of the ridiculous.
In conclusion, if there were, by some strange and twisted logic a Great Creator of sentient being, then it would not and could not, be worthy of servile regard from creatures such as us, for it would be by it's own definition, a cruel and petty being, no better than those it is accused of creating!
There are better methods of creating love, peace and harmony within the soul than forcing upon creatures servility and guilt in a vain attempt to become "better".

Does the ant view us as Gods, do you think?
Would the same ant also see the same God pouring boiling water on it for for nothing more than being an inconvienience, I wonder?
Would it ponder upon the possibilities of it's existence, if it could?
Do you suppose it would arrive at the correct assumption of our intent? Would it think there was more to it's being than there is, in actuality?

If there is no God, there would not be love, forgiveness, friendship, or life.
God is forever.
If there were no God, there would be no Christ, and there would be no purpose.
I believe in the right for a person to not believe.
I also believe that a person who wants to believe has that right to.
My common denominator that links the two is God.
If there were no God, there would be no middle ground where both sides agreed to disagree, and did not force the other side to believe what they chose not to.
I want the deal.
And at least by believing in the deal, I won't lose out on the end, IF it proves to be THE REAL DEAL.

God is okay, but religion is s.h.i.t. There shudnt ever be any religion in the world as religion causes riots and wars. Actually if God is there, i want him/her not according to any possible religion in the world.

For all the dickheads in the world-" God doesnt have a reigion"

i would want it, mayb he'd join the army of gods that we, entities have been prepairing...., we, of course under the guidance of the creator.... i'd like a fiendly non-warrior gond for a change, not a giant insect, a centaur that hugs trees every morning, a handfull of flames, a huge demon, an old human that can manipulate time, a biatch that messes with people's feelings and so on....

LIGHT LOVE AND PEACE!

It doesn't matter what I would like, or what I would prefer to be true - God is here, and that's the reality. My and your opinion on the matter count for nothing. God was, is, and will always be. Go well, and God Bless!

Nice question!! Things that make you go hmmmm!

The God that I believe exists (I am Catholic) is totally amazing and awesome. I would love the idea of living in Heaven forever. I always pictured me sitting down with God and asking Him all my questions. I'd love that! I'd be a know-it-all! I do, however, have a small bit of fear in me that I am not trying my hardest to be as good as I should be and might end up in hell. I would definitely hate that. The hell as I've heard it to be. I am not a good person because I fear hell, I am good because I love God.

If God ends up being something competely different than the way I image Him to be, I don't fear that because I know He will be good. Our creator must love us. Would He creates us just to sit back and watch us suffer? That is what Satan does, right?

If I am completely wrong and there is no God, no natural force, no intelligent being then life is good. I lived, I experienced things, I gave birth to my son and loved him and taught him things and watched him grow up. I meet a lot of different people and learned something from all of my experiences. Then I die. I am put into a wooden box and put in a hole in the dirt. I decay, worms eat my flesh. My bones might last forever or not. I don't care, I'm dead. If I end up being just bones later, who cares. I won't because I am dead and I won't know anything after my last breath. We are just fertilizer for the ground, or millions of bio-degradable coffins. The end.

But if God does exist, I REALLY want to meet Him and see Heaven and see my family and friends that are already there. Thinking and feeling this way makes me want to wake up every morning and do something. Each day brings me closer to God.
Think about --- really think about it --- meeting your Creator. Being able to see Him, feel Him, maybe touch Him, being able to hug Him, thank Him for life, being able to see your grandparents and parents again and never having to say goodbye to them again. Maybe our pets are in Heaven also. Maybe we are just light flying around in Heaven, maybe we are pieces of energy, the energy that God used to creat us with. In Heaven we will be able to meet the saints, Adam and Eve, angels, Gabriel and Michael and Raphael. Who knows!? But wouldn't it be a wonderful place to be?! Wouldn't it be terrific to be in Heaven forever, a place where sadness and pain never exists. 100% pure Grade-A peace.

Think what you want about what I just said. This is my belief, my way of thinking. This helps me strife to be a nice person, a helpful person, and open-minded as well. Don't get me wrong, I have had my share of heartaches, of misery, of depression, and I'm only 35. I will have a lot more negative things to look forward to. But believing in God helps me live through it all.

Wishing for something to be real that you already know is real is a mute point. No i wish Jesus didnt have to die for my/our sins but that was Gods will and what He says goes. Peace! :)

I hope so, but chances of him being real is highly unlikely.

**If you see this God, please forgive me**

Theory:

When you die there is no heaven, no hell. Nothing.
You can't feel, see, hear, or taste, but you can think.
It's just a long stream of consciousness, and you need to keep yourself occupied for all eternity with things like past memories, what ifs and lots of imagination.

I want everything I want to be the way it is. I don't care if happens because of god or not.
