Who is the first person you would love to rub it in their face? Someone who has been so nasty to you (karma).
I know it's a mean question. Curious though!!

Someone told me that they get hundreds or a thousand people, inspectors and all, and they actually break ground Friday afternoon and are done by Sunday evening. Anybody ever heard of that?

I shall tell you a truth.
I stared at the Sun to see who was pushing it. I saw nothing.

BUT...

When I looked away, THERE WERE SQUIGGLY LINES AND BLOBS BEFORE MY VERY OWN EYES!!!!!!
Now, if that wasn't the Flying Spaghetti Monster(pbuhna)then I don't know WHAT it was...I cannot think of another explaination so it MUST have been The Great One of many Appendages!!! The squiggly lines were His many Pasta Appendages, don't you see!?? Hallelujah!!!
Those who do not believe, refuse to only because you did not see! If you saw but STILL did not believe, it was because you could NOT understand unless you BELIEVE!!!

Don't try and fool me with your fancy "scientific" mumbo jumbo, because you won't fool me...I SAW it, so there! There were Meatballs and everything!

How much more proof could you POSSIBLY need, for Parmesan's sake!!???

Are they prevalent? I ask because it is here in the UK, in fact my son is mixed race, but interracial dating seems to be so much more problematic in the USA. I was told by my American mate that if I went to some Southern States in America we'd get a bad reception as he is white and I'm black.. even though we are just mates...
Now that I'm older I date black men now for varying reasons but I'm still interested in how interracial dating is perceived in America?

Subject: Forward: People over 35 should be dead!
According to today's regulations and bureaucracies, those of us who
were
kids in the 40's, 50's, 60's, or even maybe the early 70's probably
shouldn't have survived.
Our baby cribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paint. We
had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets! and when we
rode ourbikes, we had no helmets. (Not to mention the risks we took
hitchhiking.)
As children, we would ride in cars with no seatbelts or air bags.
Riding in the back of a pickup truck on a warm day was always a special treat.
We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle. Horrors!
We ate cupcakes, bread and butter, and drank soda pop with sugar in it, but
were never overweight because we were always outside playing. We shared
one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle, and no one actually died
from this. We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and
then rode down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into
the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.
We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we
were back when the street lights came on. No one was able to reach us all day.
NO Cell Phones Unthinkable!
We did not have Playstations, Nintendo 64, X-Boxes, no
video games at all, no channels on cable, video tape movies, surround
sound, personal cell phones, personal computers, or Internet chat rooms. We
had friends! We went outside and found them.
On a hot summer day we would take off and head for the river, lake,or pond and
dive in the cool water or took a try on a rope swing god for bid there was no
lifegaurd there or at least a growen up but as friends we looked after each other.
We played dodge ball, and sometimes, the ball would really hurt. We
fell out of trees, got cut and broke bones and teeth, and there were no lawsuits
from these accidents. They were accidents. No one was to blame but us.
Remember accidents?
We had fights and punched each other and got black and blue and learned
to get over it. We made up games with sticks and tennis balls and ate
worms, and although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very
many eyes, nor did the worms live inside us forever.
We rode bikes or walked to a friend's home and knocked on the door,
or rang the bell or just walked in and talked to them.

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who
didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Some students weren't as
smart as others, so they failed a grade and were held back to repeat the same
grade. Horrors! Tests were not adjusted for any reason.

Our actions were our own. Consequences were expected. The idea of a
parent bailing us out if we broke a law was unheard of. They actually sided
with the law. Imagine that!

This generation has produced some of the best risk-takers and
problem solvers and inventors, ever. The past 50 years have been an
explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and
responsibility, and we learned to deal with it all. And you're one of
them!

Congratulations!

Please pass this on to others who have had the luck to grow up as
kids,
before lawyers and government regulated our lives, for our own good!

People under 30 are WIMPS!!

supposedly, you can contact spirits with a quija board. the christian god is a spirit, right? so it stands to reason that the christian god could be contacted that way.

I’ll be the first to say that people are free to live their lives as they see fit. But this child is only 10 years old. If some SERIOUS changes do not occur in this child's life, he's in for a long, painful, miserable life.
It just makes me so furious at parents in the way they raise their children. Do they not care? Should the parents be prosecuted for child abuse?
It really just makes me sick...and sad.

This is the main question that turned me off of christianity: In the bible it makes no mention whatsoever of dinosaurs or any other prehistoric lifeforms. Since we have fossils to prove their existence and the bible is the word of god this has led me to believe that either 1: god doesn't know what he's talking about or 2: the bible was written by a mortal man. Both of these choices would debase the book that is the backbone of christian faith. Could anyone possibly explain this fatal flaw to a former christian?
