who would be there to adopt all the unwanted babies? will people who want it outlawed be willing to do it? or would these kids just fill up the orphanages or be shuffled through foster care? do you think a lot of the kids would end up being special needs children since mothers of unwanted children may not to take care of themselves while pregnant (lessening their chances of being adopted)?

it seems to me like if this were to happen it could have the potential of creating a lot more suffering in the world.
what do you think?

...just to let you know, i don't think abortions should be used as a form of birth control and i think that if young women were to be well educated on the abortion process it could steer them away from being risky in their sexual practices. but if it does happen, then that person should have the right to choose.

Has anyone been in this situation or similar to it? I am a devout, practicing Catholic and refuse to sacrifice my soul but I also don't want to harm my marriage. We have been married 12 years and have 3 kids. I love him so much but he's not Catholic and does not understand or appreciate our position on birth control.
