They get to use the word 'truth' because it is backed up by official evidence, doctor's reports, court trials, witnesses, ex-members, etc. They didn't just pull it out of their ****, like Hubbard did.

If I want to know what is scary, all I have to do is think of the words "Tom Cruise" and that settles it.
The Church of Scientology is around the corner from where I live. It is quite a big building (an old office building). They stand out on the street handing out leaflets for a free "personality test". I've passed them for 30 years now and I am happy to say that I have never felt compelled to join their voodoo club. And now that Tom is in the news so much, that's all the more reason!

I agree the church of Scientology brainwashes people and steals their money. Not to mention it lures people away from a true religion.
Something must be done about it. People need to be educated about dangers of Scientology, Can we possibly raise enough money to take out TV ads?

Pay taxes to the church.
Do everything they tell you.
Swear allegiance to an invisible god.

Yeah it is scarry we can thank Tom Cruise for acting weird and jumping on the couch for this. I was not thinking about it at all until he started bashing on Brooke and the mentally ill until then. I could have cared less. I even liked Tom. I could have cared less about the topic. Now I think about the scarry cult all the time. Tom thanks for bring up this whole scarry thing, so people know.
