real Q why does everyone seem to target just Christians and Muslims?

i was wondering,seems all questions are christian or muslim based,with an jewish one here and their,bashing and down talking each other,yet no one metions the chatholics,baptist,....just wondering...i know some people just want controversy,but bashing christians and muslims is seeming to be getting old and repeative

im sorry your right i did leave out the athiest,and do real religous people who respond belive all the answers are from belivers?

Christians, through the American government, run the planet (poorly) and thus are open to criticism.

Muslims are attacked because some Americans are trying to whip up a war-frenzy against them (the American military is having troubles recruiting people, you see).

Atheists are attacked because they keep reminding Christians of their conscience, and some Christians really hate to believe in a conscience.

Yes I quite agree lets bash the Catholics they certainly deserve it.

The only way to the father is thru Jesus and they have saints and Mary statues. Uph! That's idol worship and they light candles.

Hmmmm.. for me, I lump all of the Christians together most of the time unless talking about some detail of thier beliefs...

Catholics, Baptists, Mormons, Protestants, Lutherans... etc... are all Christians...

Muslims get mentioned a lot because of the news and it is current in most people's minds...

Oh.. and we bash the Wiccans quite a lot too!! Just ask them!...

and don't forget the homosexuals, the perverts, and uhmm.. hmm.. (ran out of people to mention)... we pick on them ALL in this category!!

It just appears that way, The religious hold immense power and plays the martyr well.
Words are not bashing, at least not physically.
Religion has done and continues to do some real physical type bashing for sure.

Heck, you should see those christians picking on the satanists, lumping them with the pagan-wiccans.

Its not that people target them, its just that its like world war 1. you know, the british troops climbing out of the trenches and walking towards the enemy trenches. They -make- a target of themselves. They think they're invunerable and invisible, when really, all they're doing is giving themselves and their religions or philosophical stances a bad name.

some people really wish to understand the other side.the bashing would indicate that someone struck a nerve.the truth is a bitter thing indeed.it is old.but this thing "the net" gives us the ability to engage in small but intelligent debate,well for some that is.when people answer with immature and degrading comments its usually because they dont have the capacity to answer with any intellect behind it.

well, as long as ppl are sincere him in seeking knowledge abt Islam, i dont mind ppl asking questions, 'coz i come here to answer them and clear mis-conceptions and mis-information abt Islam. It also brings out issues in the open, that ppl feel inside but cant discuss it with someone (fear of being beheaded lolzzz). It also give me a chance to shamelessly promote my religion (Islam) and also test my knowledge abt Islam, as well as getting ppl to c what Truly Islam is in its Pure Form and True Essence. I also get to spread the message of Islam and invite ppl to Islam. Islam is the religion of Peace, Love, Harmony & Humanity. Peace to All.

I wish they would stop using religion as hate, or stop saying them words all together, I don't answer very many, I guess we should stop giving them attention.
Perhaps we should get rid of all religions..... we all have God, and Jesus... that's all you need. ALL Nations merging as One entity under God. If everyone was open like me we can do it, but I am afraid in this world were ready for revelation:)
