Jesus died to show you that as a part of God you are eternal and continue to exist after the death of the body. This message has been covered up and subverted. The lie that is being told in place of the truth is that he died for peoples sins. This is absurd nonsense.

This idea only makes sense if God is insane.

Jesus is not dead. And the list goes on about why He had to die:

1. So that he could be raised from the dead to show His true authority in the earth and the universe that He is Lord of all things.

2. His life had to be sacrificed as a type of bail or bond payment for the sins of man, from the beginning of time to the end of time, against God.

3. He also had to die to show the meaning of true love. Who would give their life for someone who hadn't even been created yet? He died to let someone like you know that He loves you. Because even you have sinned against God. But since Jesus died you don't have to serve the eternal sentence of Hell IF you believe on Him; and If you believe on Him and live your life pleasing to Him then yes you will see Him when you die. God Bless.

Jesus was sent to this world to die for our sins. God ordained his whole life first to preaching the gospel. The old Jewish way called for a blood sacrifice each year to atone for the sins of the nation. This animal had to be pure and without a blemish. A priest would lay hands on the goat, the goat then took the sins of the nation (where scapegoat comes from), and was released into the wilderness, away from the camp. Jesus is the ultimate fulfillment of this sacrifice. He is the eternally pure and spotless sacrifice. When he hung on the cross, the sins of the world from then to eternity were placed on him on the cross. When he died, he said, "It is finished." This means that now anyone can gain atonement their their belief and acceptance of his death as the ultimate sacrifice. Don't think of Jesus as dying, because 3 days later, he rose again from the dead--signifying defeating the power death. John 11:25-26 says, "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall live; and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die." If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and accept his death on the cross for your sins, then you will see him when you die or when he comes back to earth--whichever comes first.

The real reason of his death was to do our Father's will, and Jesus knew what was going to happen, that's why he prayed before they caught him, praying, Father take this cup from me, but Jesus knew not only that God's will must be done, and that we needed him to do it, Jesus blood cover our sins, so we could have a fair chance to make it into Heaven.
Of course you will see him, Jesus rose three days after his death, he's very much alive today as well as God.

In dying, Jesus fulfilled the will of God the Father, who wanted Him to take upon Himself all the sins of mankind, die, and rise from the dead in three day to signify that death (which was the result of sin) no longer has a hold on Jesus, or mankind. We are redeemed, and reconciled to the Father once again through Jesus, who died for us.

He was put to death for sedition against the Roman government at the request of the Jewish religious leaders of that time. The reason for his death (why God allowed it) was to buy back what Adam had lost, perfect human life and then to sacrifice that life on our behalf.

After reading your question, I have to ask you if you have ever read the Bible? Even if only the New Testement. If you had you would have the answer to this question. I will answer some of it for you, but i ask that you go and read it for your self. John is a good place to start and then Matthew after that, and also a good church to talk to an understanding pastor would help. A good church would be Calvary Chapel. Do a google search and you will find one that is possibly close to you, or just go to a baptist church, but stay away from the Catholic churches.
Ok, here it is. First of all, Christ Jesus is not dead. He is alive and will one day return to this Earth.
Jesus did die, but after 3 days He, the Son of God in Heaven arose from the grave and ascended to Heaven.
Why did He do this? Because in order for your sins to be forgiven He had to pay the most ultimate penalty in all of God's creation. By his death He paid for your sins. There is a catch to that though. In order to be forgiven by his death and blood you have to accept him as your Savior, best friend you could ever have and His adopted brother and Lord. He and the Heavenly Father (Abba in greek) have given us to be adopted into Their family even though we don't deserve it.
But it wasn't just that He died that paid for our sins. In order to really pay the total debt for us He had to be forsaken by His Father in Heaven. As if taking on the pain of all of the sins of mankind wasn't enough, He was removed from God's light and love. That is a pain that we as humans could never even fathom, but I can tell you it had to be of the most terrible of grief that any person could experience. Christ Jesus Had been with God from the beginning. In the Bible He is the Word in Genisis through whom all things were made. Could you imagine your parents casting you out of the house and telling you they don't love you anymore and they don't ever want tto see you ever again. Granted that isn't what God said to Jesus, but what He felt was even worse than that. It would take too long to explain everything here so I will leave it at that for now as far as why he had to die for our sins. Not any person is free of sin, no, not one. None of us can ever get into Heaven on our own. That is where Jesus comes in. His death wipes the slate clean for all eternity for your sins when you accept Him as your Savior.
Will you see Him when you die? Yes. But if you haven't accepted Him as your Savior, then He will deny you before God and you will be held accountable for all of the sins you have ever done.
As a Christian I tell you the truth of the Word of God. It is in the Bible free to read for any and all who desire. There aren't any secret mysteries, or codes. God and Jesus make it all very plain and clear for all who seek God's truth.

When a person refuses God, they earn death by walking away from the Source of Life. Jesus took what people earned so that people could have what he has - Life. All you have to do is accept it.

You will see him sometime probably, perhaps at the Judgment.

And Jesus is not dead, he was raised to life, have you not read the Scriptures?

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive. -Luke 20:38
