If someone says that they are at a hotel.. waiting for a plane that leaves in 2 days....... (they are overseas)....... and they say they will take a shower and go to an internet cafe in one hour......but they do not show up online.........then after 2 hours........u call them......and they say they are eating and will be there in 1/2 hour.........then 2 more hours go by...........then u call.........then they say they took a taxi to the cafe.......the owner said all the computers were not working (electric)... and then..........u asked why he did not call...........he say no credit on phone......and u say why not go to store....and not leave me waiting.......he says stores close down at prayer time ( 30 mins, i know that is true) ..but he had TWO hours to get to a store........ and THEN u told him his story is crazy..........so, he gets mad......... phone disconnects.., u call at 2 am his time, a male friend answers, (at hotel ??)... ahhh is it must me, or is this wacked? & no, not gay

Why do a lot of the latino people I meet assume that us white people think that we are better than them. My girlfriend is hispanic as are a lot of my friends..so we can talk about everything pretty much. A lot of them have no other white friends and don't come in contact with many white people on a personal level. So where do they get this idea from? Is this passed down from thier parents whom didn't have white friends either? My latino freind said to me a little while ago "White people don't like kids because that don't have as many as Spanish people." That one has me still laughing. This isn't a hate question..honestly

The children in question are 13 and 15. I've read that they "experts" feel that you need to raise them from infancy knowing they have a gay/lesbian parent but circumstances have prevented this in this case. The opinion of the family of the gay man is to wait until they reach age 18 (if even telling them then) because "they are not able to handle it until they are adults".
He feels they know and wishes to share this "aspect" of his life with his kids. I don't know how to advise. Opinions?

I am kind of new to this whole Christian thing and i was reading in the book of Timothy. I go to a community church and sometimes a woman leads worship and sometimes preaches. The passage in 2 Timothy says, "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent." I was wondering, how you get around that when it sounds so blatent that women should not do that?

I recently met this boy and i really like him and i don't want to do the cliche dinner and a movie thing since...well....you can't really talk throught a movie and i like talking to him. I've talked it over with a few other people i know and some think it's a really cute idea and others think that it's something that should be saved for later....like a birthday or an anniversary (providing it comes to that) or something like that. of course after that i plan on getting some food and then maybe a nice little walk downtown by the arch (i live in STL). While walking to work today, I didnt notice that fresh cement had been poured on the sidewalk. When I did notice it, by then it was too late. My brand new trouser pants had sunk about two inches in the cement. I now need to find a way to remove the cement from my pants without ruining the material. The pants are 100% silk, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
