What's wrong with being naked? We're all born naked, and you're a lucky, you might die naked. Why is everybody so uptight about their bodies? Get a grip. The Puritans died a long time ago.

Well, our society is influenced a lot by the Judeo-Christian religion. It says in the Bible that after Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden of Eden, they became aware of their nakedness, and were ashamed, hence, the reason why we wear clothes. But that has been used for hundreds of years to make people feel guilty about what they were born with. In short, guilt is the reason why they think you are a s.l.u.t. Guilt and insecurity.

Why is everyone so down on the Puritans? The Puritans drank, had sex, and even had children born out of wedlock. In fact, when you get down to it, the Puritans liked to have a good time as much as anyone. What they absolutely refused to tolerate however, was the questioning of religious authority.

Naked is fine, just so long as the rest of us don't have to look at you. Privacy is a good thing, and not everyone looks like super model. Be naked at home and in your backyard, otherwise you'll be naked at the precinct house.

These are my views, and I'm a bleeding-heart Liberal:

I find conservatively-dressed women the most beautiful of women.

A woman who shows all the "goods" is nothing more than a tool - good for sex and not much else.

When did DECENCY become wrong?

You can be naked all you want - just don't expect any RESPECT from civilized people.

Prevent yourself from being abused by men and dress like a REAL woman, not a tool for sex.

And dressing conservative can really save you from rape, as men's gazes are lowered when they see a conservatively-dressed woman.

I also have a great deal of respect for Muslim women - they know self-respect.

the first 2 pages of the bible seem to "answer" this question. They seem to make claim that when we became intelligent, defying the law of god, we learned that nudity was bad. So obviously clothes are what make us intelligent. Or i think thats what theyre saying. But we all know the bible is just to enforce unnecessary rules, make people uncomfortable, and stifle human creativity and individuality. But more than that it allows insecure people to rationalize their insecurities with their body, and judge those who are comfortable with theirs. Clothes don't really do anything besides keep you warm and protected, which makes the millions of dollars spent on clothes useless, unless you're trying to hide your skin with something better looking.

People are much to insecure with their bodies and their sexuality. People really do need to get a grip. Being naked is just as natural as anything.

In our deeply religious society, people are programmed from birth to believe that almost anything remotely sexual is deviant or "evil" if you will. You must de-program.
