If someone says that they are at a hotel.. waiting for a plane that leaves in 2 days....... (they are overseas)....... and they say they will take a shower and go to an internet cafe in one hour......but they do not show up online.........then after 2 hours........u call them......and they say they are eating and will be there in 1/2 hour.........then 2 more hours go by...........then u call.........then they say they took a taxi to the cafe.......the owner said all the computers were not working (electric)... and then..........u asked why he did not call...........he say no credit on phone......and u say why not go to store....and not leave me waiting.......he says stores close down at prayer time ( 30 mins, i know that is true) ..but he had TWO hours to get to a store........ and THEN u told him his story is crazy..........so, he gets mad......... phone disconnects.., u call at 2 am his time, a male friend answers, (at hotel ??)... ahhh is it must me, or is this wacked? & no, not gay

Well yes it is you. I think you are to demanding on this person. Not sure why he is away from you but maybe you better relax, let him decide when to call you.
He is in a strange country, their rules and culture is very different than here. Most of what he says about the stores and cafes is true. If you keep calling him he will not have any money left to call you. I know not hearing for him is a drain on your emotions but if he is in Iraq, he has to be very careful where he goes. What he does. The electricity goes out all the time there. The people close businesses to pray every four hours. All what he says is plausible.
Look he is there. Doing what he is doing. Yes it is wrong to make an appointment on the Internet and not show up. But think about it, does he show up on time when he is here with you?
So back off. Let him get in touch with you. It is hard enough to just be over there, let alone having a historical woman call you over and over. He doesn't need that kind of treatment.

Maybe he just didn't want to talk. If he just came out of a combat zone he could be suffering from ptsd and sometimes the only people you feel comfortable talking to are people who were there with you or at least in country and experienced the same thing. Other than that maybe he aad his buddy had girls in the room. Who knows.
