how do you feel about this fact?

Many studies chiefly show the same results (despite time of study, location, etc.)."

there you have it. science says that the more religious you are, the dumber you are. (on average)

of course there's some degree of generality involved in the statistic, but it's a bona fide scientific fact. you can't argue with that.

My sister is head-over-heels in love with a gay man. He is charismatic, very charming, funny, and extremely good looking. She is convinced that she can change him! She frequently spends the night at his place and they'll go on "dates." I've seen them kiss and she has even told me that they showered together and have made out! So what's the deal? A couple of days ago I was swimming (topless, as always) in my pool. When I finished I took off my bikini bottom with the intention of wrapping a towel around me and hanging it up to dry. Just as I took it off, a male friend of mine walked around the back of the house (having let himself in). I said hello while I finished wrapping the towel around me, but he got a good look (which didn't really worry me, and I didn't really react). But he was really embarrassed and apologetic, and claimed that the only way to make up for it was to let me see him naked. So he proceeded to take off his clothes. I said he didn't have to but he did, and we stood there for a few secs - him nude and me with a towel around me (covering my boobs and my lower half). Then he just got dressed and we went inside, I got dressed (out of sight of him) and then we hung out. There was no suggestion that anything else would or should happen. Just I saw him bc he saw me. Do you think he did the right thing?

What does it mean if a guy gives you direct eye contact all the time, smiles at you a lot, tries to make you laugh, touches you lightly a lot on the shoulders and back, gets jealous when other guys flirt/hug you, and is always is a gentleman and helps you out? Also, he calls you "mucho bonita" OH and btw: what if y'all don't speak the same language but can roughly communicate and their is a "spark" or connection between them. And when he talks to you he stares into your eyes and stands really close. and one girl said he's married, which he sure doesn't act it : why would he act this way?? oh also I am a Christian girl and I would never ever cheat with a married man because that is against my morals. I am not interested in a sexual relationship with him b/c I'm saving myself for marriage. I just genuinely like/care about him, but I don't want to fall for a guy who could be married....and I would feel horrible, absolutely awful for liking him if he's married. Why does he behave this way?

In the Quran, verses, 4:11 – 13 and 4:176 explains how inheritance should be divided up. By these verses, it is understood that any kind of will is not allowed. But 2:180-182 seems to be saying to make a will (bequest) just before death. Is this a contradiction in the Quran?????

I mean, I get that they were a major international port, and that there was money, both of which tend to contribute to a flourishing of the arts and sciences. But come on, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Van Leuwenhoek, and--I know I'm going to misspell this--Van Huygens, all in one century? What gives?

hi i hope some1 can shed some light on such a devastating moment of my life. i am 25 years old , a single mom of a 9 year old, currently facing the most hardest nightmare in my life.. ok i was out of town on a birthday celebration for myself, found myself making a big mistake by takig a ride with a person i thought i could trust from arizona to ny, only to be stopped half way the trip with me driving the vehicle and 200 pounds of marijuana in the back. i was inprisoned for a week and out on bail, i do have a lawyer . but would like to know if any1's ever ben throug this , or atleast knows someone who has , or even knows the outcome of my situation....im again a single devastated mom in some need of a peace of mind thanks.

am certain that I am awake but then I'm in my bed all over again getting attacked, what could it be? I was told by a lady to put a clear glass of water under the bed for 10 days straight, this will drive them away, and that if indeed there are spirits the glass will be full of cristal marbles and not water by the morning.
