Yes. I learned a lot , other from finding new resources to look up it also confirms me in my beliefs. And since I am of a minority it feels good to know there are people out there that share the same belief, or are at least not afraid to admit it.

Yes. I'm a Muslim and when I first joined yahoo answers I had the idea that all Christians and Jews hate Muslims since we have seen enough in the middle east & muslims world. But now I came to know that there are many who don't hate Muslims and they are true followers of Christianity or that there are some good human beings in the west and they do not agree to what their governments are doing.
I also came to know that the hate to Islam is based on ignorant . Many of the askers just ask questions based on some Islam blashing sites. They have not come in touch with the true Islam so they hate us for this reason.
Also I have come to know that some people in the world never heard of Islam.

well initially i thought that YA! was going to b a place for me to learn and interact with people of diff cultures, religion and traditions. it has its own boons and banes.
1st YA! has helped me expand my horizons. i learnt that not all people are same. we all are unique not only when it comes to looks or speech but also in faith. i'm glad that i have been able to learn from people of other faith and also let people know about my faith.
also there have been some questions that have made me brood over and in turn has helped me get to know my Faith better.
also we are able to see some things that are not being shown by the media, so thats another aspect i learnt. here there is direct answering and interacting, so we are able to know what others feel about the present and past situations.
i hope that people will be a little more respectful and not treat everyone like we are terrorists. i hope that YA! will help communities get closer and lessen the communication gap.
may peace and blessings of Allah be with us and may He guide us on the right path.

Well I always knew there were racists, sexists, and closed minded morons in the world. But I guess I never realized exactly how many there were. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't exactly naive, but I have started to see the problem a lot of people have with other religions etc..
I've always been the I have my beliefs and they are only my beliefs so I'm not going to push them off on anybody else type of person. So I guess I am just kind of shocked to see the extent of society's ignorance.
I just wish people wouldn't just assume the worst about every group who doesn't share their exact opinions.

Absolutely! Yahoo! Answers has completely changed my life! The amazing intelligence and insight on this website, coupled with the profound discussions really challenge me to examine my long-held views on life. Without the guidance of Yahoo! Answers, I would be forever lost.

I learned a few new sources for recipes. I've learned that Ludacris has a new CD coming out.
I learned that a lie can travel around the world while the truth's still tying its shoes.
Gay guys are giving me insightful answers to a question right now.
And I learned that I'm far from the only Pagan who has loved an agnostic.

What I have learned is there are many bitter, cold hearted people out there. Most of the questions are not very interesting or even real questions at all. I don't know that anything I have read has changed my mind on a topic, but perhaps confirmed strongly that if most folks on this site have been trained by the government school system we are all in a very sad state of affairs.

I've learned somethings and I've been challenged to change my base core belief in one area, but for this part, I am still convicted and persuaded that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God by which all men shall have to accept in order to be a part of heaven as he is the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins and otherwise we are born into eternal separation and will spend our eternity in hell if we deny Christ when convicted by the Holy Spirit.
