I recently started seeing a woman I genuinely enjoy. The thing is, I'm not so sure how to consider her history. She's great, open, honest, fun, grounded.... We're both in our early 40's, but she has not been in a lesbian relationship before, and it's been many years since she's been in any relationship. She's been on anti-depressants for a couple years, had a tough time with the illness for a few years before, and says she's dealt with mild depression most of her life. She was sexually abused by her father when she was quite young. She spent much of her life thinking he screwed her up enough to make her gay and so tried to live straight. She's been in therapy for the last few years, and seems really together now. The attraction's mutual on many levels. Sex is very good. I'm just worried about starting a relationship with someone who's done well professionally but avoided personal relationships for so much of life. Am I setting myself up for heartache?

Doesn't this prove the point that you Bible thumping, backwoods, blathering fools need to update your religion and get out of the stone age?

Why do you respond with a wrong answer long after one or even ten or more people have already responded with the right answer? Are you so anxious to show how stupid you are that you don't bother to read the exising answers before you join your fellow idiots in writing a stupid answer? I was about to type "Don't bother responding to this question", but since you are an idiot, you will, anyway.

I just came from making out with my BF for 5 hours straight. I can't believe I was there 5 hours non-stop with out clothes on. I'm home, I took my T-shirt off, and it smells like sweat, but as in his sweat, not mine, and I can't stop sniffing it.

Is this weird?

Some of us think so and refuse to claim that we are the 'chosen' ones or the 'only' ones.

The answers to the last GOD-LIKE quandary that I applied to this horrbile "live blog" known as yahoo answers, were disgusting. The pain it caused my great and delicate mind to read those answers left me no other choice than to promptly delete it. My new question is-
How can you be so feeble and pea-brained that you could botch an answer about how feeble and pea-brained you are? What level of blindingly monumental stupidity would one have to ascertain to accomplish that feat?

Do you find that when Atheists ask questions and get sincere answers from Christians you maybe have a different opinion of that person? Do Christians find that when an Atheists answers one of your questions with a sincere non hatred answer that maybe you change your opinion of that person?
Just curious and I wonder why some of the people on this forum answer with such nasty, hateful answers. I myself have been guilty of this in the past, I am now going to change that with my future questions and answers.

Today it is really expensive to live. Everything is raising except for wages. Are people living check to check, swiping credit cards, and refinancing their homes just to make ends meet? Is this administration @ fault

It seems like the other religious choices are keeping more of a low-profile, but the atheists are asking many, many questions and getting all OCD on us here. Stuff like "blah blah you have no scientific proof yada yada why would God do this?"

I mean if they don't believe in God...why don't they just CHILL and get on with their lives?

This question is not intended to discriminate, harm, etc. but then again I'm not quite sure why anyone would perceive it as such.

I think it is harder to come out if you're bi. My mother is the greatest person in the world. She completely understands and supports homosexuals. Her favorite elderly uncle is gay also. But she and I have talked about a friend of my brother's who said he was bi first and then gay. She spoke of bisexuality like it was gross. She thought it was irresponsible to be bi, she just didn't understand it. Like both gay and straight people, she didn't believe bisexuality to be a true orientation, just someone messing around and being dangerous. How can I come out as a bisexual to her?
