Actually, They Went Into "Purgatory". Before Jesus Came, No One Could Enter Heaven. They Were Faithful Servants Of God Until The Very End, Even Though They Committed The Sin. When Jesus Died On The Cross, He Decended Into Hell, Grabbed The Keys To Purgatory, And Took All The Faithful With Him Into Heaven When He Ascended.

Adam and eve were cast out of the garden as a punishment for what they did, against God, and the garden is to represent heaven on earth, but the consequence then is the same as today when we reject Gods plan, the only thing is that the plan is different now ! But the good news is that Christ has come and did come and if you read 1 Peter 3:19 it will explain what Christ did for all those who died before he came and how he gave them one last chance(after he died and before he rose again), to obey God and accept him as the only way to get into heaven. Do you see how awesome he really is, and some people with little knowledge think that God had forgotten everyone before Christ. It says,"He went into the prison and preached to those spirits". "Those who disobeyed God long ago when God waited patiently while Noah built the boat" Only eight were saved from the flood and so before the Saviour the punishment of sin was death and so all had sinned and so there was basically no hope for people to get into Heaven. And this scripture clearly talks about those that died long ago and does not apply today after we die, or for anyone who died after Jesus's time. We must accept Gods plan of Heaven now before we die, this is the final agreement or covenant or chance to get in there. And now the only way to not get into Heaven is to reject Christ, but thats another day, my friend. So to answer your question nobody really knows but one thing for sure is that Christ gave them an oppurtunity to get into Heaven and no one knows if they accepted or not but I dont think they refused.
I hope this is not complicated for you to understand friend. If you need me to elaborate on it I will, just contact me !

A common mistaken notion is that it is sin that sends us to hell. No. Jesus paid the price for ALL sin, past, present and future. People go to hell because they reject what Jesus has done on the cross for us. The debt was paid for EVERYONE. Only those who refuse to accept that and try to do it on their own are the ones who will go to hell. God has done everything He could without forcing people to accept Him. He holds out the offer. What we choose to do with it will determine our fate.
Adam and Eve knew they had sinned, and I think they grasped more of the seriousness of what they did than any other human ever has. They knew they were lost without God. I don't think they hesitated a moment to admit that they could never get back to God on their own efforts, and I am confident that I will meet them in heaven soon.

I believe they went to heaven. What Adam and Eve did was disobey God. Look around you today, everybody is commiting sins from murder to small lies. If you can look at what Adam and Eve did and criticise them for what they've done, all of us today are surely to go to hell. If we were to turn each sin we commit everyday into an apple, this world will flood from fibery fruits.Even if they didn't disobey God, someone along the perfect line will disobey Him and we will blame Adam's great great great great ------ grandson instead of him and Eve.

First of all...there's no apple. It's the tree in the center of the Garden. . .
Genesis 2:9 And the LORD God planted all sorts of trees in the garden--beautiful trees that produced delicious fruit. At the center of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 3
The Man and Woman Sin
1Now the serpent was the shrewdest of all the creatures the LORD God had made. "Really?" he asked the woman. "Did God really say you must not eat any of the fruit in the garden?"
2"Of course we may eat it," the woman told him. 3"It's only the fruit from the tree at the center of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God says we must not eat it or even touch it, or we will die."
4"You won't die!" the serpent hissed. 5"God knows that your eyes will be opened when you eat it. You will become just like God, knowing everything, both good and evil."
6The woman was convinced. The fruit looked so fresh and delicious, and it would make her so wise! So she ate some of the fruit. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her. Then he ate it, too.
Yeah, no mention of apples. Totaly mis-conception...
Second, God shows His grace and mercy to anyone He chooses! Guess we'll have to wait and see!
Grace to you!

there is no literal place called hell. in the second coming everybody who has ever died is raised again when jesus comes to earth. the army officals will get a war against jesus and god, which god will win, and then the good people will go to heaven and everybody else will burn.
if there was a literal place called hell adam and eve wouldn't go there because god forgave them for eating the forbidden fruit.

Adam and Eve are the worlds eye opener! Look at the facts as explained by the bible. Adam and Eve sought knowledge. When a kind teacher helped them get it. What did God do? He got upset!!! What kind of God would get upset at his children gaining knowledge of good and evil? That is ludicrous!!! What kind of keeper wants stupid pets? Adam and Eve are an eye opener as to the fallacy of what is God. No God should ever want stupid pets, yet that is how the bible describes us. As Fricking Sheep. Read it and disbelieve!

They were in eden and commited the sin and they were sent out of eden for disobeying God and life on earth became more difficult. God feared that they would eat from the tree of eternal life just as they did from the forbidden tree so he guarded the tree of life and sent them out of eden
