You ask: "IS BEING FOB BAD?" - Honestly I never think of PEOPLE like this, and luckily you explained what a fob is. So of course the answer is NO!!
Also you ask:"what do FOB's do?" - As they are PEOPLE they moved here for a better life, same as your forefathers did. Every AMERICAN IS A FOB!! Didn't you pay attention during American history? Everyone came from a boat, went through Ellis Island, SOME GOT RENAMED! THINK ABOUT THAT! A NEW NAME 2 MINUTES IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY! Totally cut off from support. And here we are.
PEOPLE BETTER REMEMBER THEIR HISTORY! THERE IS NO REASON TO HATE ANYONE!!!!
WT bleeeep!!! IT'S 2006! People have to have done something before you can arrive at an emotion. Try understanding and compassion!
YUCK, recondition your brain for 2006, people are not catalogued like the past. Respect people - please.
AAARGH! You make me weep for the future! Your generation is going to be in positions of authority and this is how you think?!?!

As an Italian imigeant who has been in the country for some time, I can tell you that the term "Fresh Off The Boat" refered more to the fact that the person in question was not fimiliar with the way things worked in the new place and was easy to take advantage of. It was also used as a derogatory slang term for someone who made a thoughless mistake and was being called ignorant or stupid. Now this was almost 45 years ago, and the meaings of things have changed over the years. When I was groing up if we said something was BAD it was not a good thing. So how the term FOB is used not I am not sure but this was the original concept. I hope that helps you.

FOB bad for who?

It is bad for them, when they encounter stupid, small minded people that are prejudiced.

Consider this: if they were so bad, why are they allowed/encouraged to come?

Very few come with nothing (most would be refugees). Most have to be sponsored, so they do not leach off of the system. A sponser is responsible for getting an immigrant off their feet.

Most illegal immigrants work in the jobs that you don't want or would do anyways for any price; meat packing plants, housekeeping, janitorial etc. They aren't always educated enough to compete for the good jobs. But some are, and if they weren't needed, immigration limits would be decreased.

To hate someone you haven't met is immeasurably immature. They are actually more likely per capita to go further in education, have good jobs and support all the non-immigrants who are too lazy to get a good job, or any job at all. They know they have an opportunity to get a better life, and work hard for it, whereas people living in the USA or Canada are more likely to take the good life for granted.

ok. i'm now unlikely to bash them. this is purely unnecessary, because are you going to end listening to them purely because someone says they suck? i'm particular you received't, precise? (you'll extra constructive not! Lol). i in my view do not care a lot for MCR, FOB, or Panic. this is own selection, i assume - i don't like guy singers usually, and that i don't like the type of song they play in. even with the undeniable fact that to respond to your Q - an excellent type of different clientele the following imagine that those bands are in it for the money, and that their image is too stereotypical, etc. yet you realize what? If their song makes you satisfied, so be it. purely ignore concerning the haters. i'm particular your musical tastes will evolve over the years, and who's conscious of? you could continuously love those bands. if so then I have not something yet kudos for you. an excellent type of persons bash me on the bands i love, yet i have met those who extremely relish those bands. i have also met some cool those who do not look after my musical tastes, yet appreciate me for them and we finally end up having a exciting time chatting. purely attempt to brush aside them. i understand it isn't ordinary, yet purely be satisfied with the actual undeniable truth that you're a extra constructive individual than to hunch down and worsen somebody else because of a touch element like musical reviews.

FOBS in my opinion, some of them think they have every freedom they can think up once they are in America. That would be anarchy, this is "Freedom to do what is right"

This is what they do they come to our country. They take our jobs from us they get payed better. They get houses given to them by our government. But if we went to their country we get treated like we are the lowest life form on this earth.

I don't 'hate' a person because they're an immigrant. Grow up.
