Well, keep in mind that given the time and culture, that homosexual activity was understood very differently--medieval and classical societies had some notion of what we would call "sexual orientation" but it was a lot less primary in terms of how people formulated their self-understanding--and to this day, the part of the Arabic world around the gulf, male-to-male sex is broadly practiced and openly displayed, in the right contexts, by persons of all sexual orienttaions--partly due to the fact that the genders are so segregated in Islamic society.
In fact, in pre-Islamic society, the role of women was yet-more-oppressive and yet-more segregated, and homosexuality was a nearly-universal outlet to keep "daddy's goods" from being spoiled before marriage. Mohammad did a lot to improve the lot of women, relative to his time--there is an entire chapter in the Koran devoted to reforming what had been going on before.
So, I would say that the probability is there generally--Mohammads' epilepsy might have interfered with him getting those kinds of friendships or not--and, after he was a Prophet, i think that his role might well have stopped him from needing to or being able to engage in anything but the stricted conformity with the law he propounded. There is not positive biographical evidence on this quetsion, only about what practices were, and to an extent are, in that society--make your best guess.

If you mean gay, I doubt that. there are several reasons.
1) Homosexuality is anathema in Islamic society; it is doubtful that its founder and key practitioner held such a secret.
2) Mohammed had numerous wives, and if he was gay, it would be very very hard to keep that sort of thing going without getting tired of it quickly.
3) Not really a third reason, but it's worth noting that in islamic societies, it is common for men to hold hands and NOT be gay. it makes us look a little funny here in the west.
That's it -- I am sure not what you were looking for, and no, I'm not Muslim and don't care either way... just noting what I am aware of.

When people do not have technical arguements they start bashing like that.
Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a great messanger of Allah the Almighty and was innocent of all types of sins.
What you are trying to speak here is totally and strictly forbidden in Islam.
