As an example, many Christian fundamentalists believe:

- The world is 6000 years old.
- Evolution is not true. God put everything here as is.
- Homosexuality is wrong, and they have the right to preach hate against them
- killing for democracy(oil) is okay but stem cell research is wrong
- Jesus is coming back, and will take them all to heaven, leaving the rest of us here

If you read what Jesus said (which has been filtered through many peopl before being written down) he doesn'say hate the Homosexuals, or the world is only 4000 years old, or that killing for one reason is better than another.

I think we should flush all the holy books away, and use our collective efforts to advance the human race rather than keep us stagnating about what god we believe.

He's a pervert. Plain and simple. He walks out side (and we're in the middle of town by the way) in nothing but a thong. He's even come over to where I'm walking my dog and talked to me while wearing it. I always see him with a ton of alcohol (and thats illegal here, we're a dry county) and he plays his music really loud at like 3:00 in the morning. He also always seems to be staring. He moved in about two months ago and this is how its been. Should I report him? If I do, what will the police do? Thanks for the advice!

I am trying to choose a stage name for belly dancing, and want to play off my real name (Cari) so it's easier for me. What would you say if I told you the Catholic "Hail Mary" comes from the Bible? What if I said so to does the "Magnificant" another prayer? I am not trying to persuade you to pray these prayers or to honor her as we do but to clear up a misconception.

Why do you think the Messiah has not come yet?

It says in Issiah, "and he will be called prince of peace, everlasting Father, Mighty God". Does it not occur to you that Jesus was forfilling prophecy?

And the names from Adam to Noah put them together and their meanings and you get a prophecy about the Messiah. I really want to know why Jews do not think Jesus is and was God in flesh who came on the earth as the ultimate sacrifice? The Old Testament is full of prophecy for this.
