I once visitted a Pentacostal Church pastored by two partnered men. I listened to the sermon, sang songs with them, and danced up and down the aisles with them. Afterword, I stayed and socialized, come out confident a fist wouldn't be landing in my face. The pastor took me aside and asked, "Do you think homosexuality and the Bble are compatible?" I told him no for there are verse in both Old and New testements condemning sexual acts between genders. He told me something for which I have no knowledge: All those references believed to condemn homosexuality actually condemn temple prostitution, not loving relationships.

How true is this? What is the common theology of Christians gays, lesbians, bisexuals and trans-folk?

Note: If you can't get with this question, don't even bother. Ok. Before you even think about keying your keyboard, take a deep breath, clear your mind and try not to be insulting. Ok? Mature people only. Why did I ask this question? Black History month, Native American history Month, Pacific Islander Month, Asian heritage Month, Hispanic Heritage, Saint Patrick's Day and the list goes on. I've heard this more than once. I've heard it on my job. Why isn't there a "White History Month?" Good question. I dunno?

well Jesus did NOT took the 10 commandments he only took away the moses law and the 10 commandment are what God blessed and wrote them in a rock and if we dont follow one commandment they why should we follow any of them?
of course you know to not kill is a commandment so why still follow it ? yes we are suppost to follow it as well as we are suppost to follow all of them all 10 of them and also read 1 John 2;1-29 and also 1 John 5;1-21 God bless you all and undersatandness amen.

So, I asked why I wasn't converted by force, if God is almighty and he knows better. And they answered that I wouldn't want to be loved by putting a gun to people's head, would I? Now, my follow-up question is:

Why would God punish those who choose not to love him (or acknowledge his existence, in the first place). If only I had done that with all the girls and women who chose to reject me, the world might as well be empty now!

i am a chrisitan and i would like to ask--

why do u care so much about christians about others who believe in God or other people in other religions?

u dont even know me or anyone else, so why would u worry about us?

why must u condemn us all the time?

and btw. the money that we give in church-- supports the church.
some corrupt fake churches may use the money for something else but i dono.

When i first decided it was a good plan and God's plan, to wait for sex till marriage one of my ideas was that if i waited, i would have a happily ever after marriage and everything would always be fine. I thought my wife would never be able to yell at me saying "you never loved me..it was always about the sex" like i heard in my own household a few times.

But...I think i wasn't being rational with my earlier thinking. There still will be fights and even a possible divorce, even if sex is waited for. I think just because we overcame one temptation doesn't mean everything will be fine always.
So..can i have some new positive light on why one still should wait? Will the marriage be at all better if the couple did wait?

All the athiests had their experiences... all the Christians had theres... what about those inbetween? And heck, what about the other religions of the world? Shouldn't they get their representation? So go ahead, tell me of the thought processes that brought you to become agnostic. I don't want any athiest or Christian propaganda, but any other is okay, even if it says we're all going to hell (as long as it's not Christian, and that includes catholic). QUESTION REALITY! I am a high school teacher, and am SO tired of wasting time telling the students to pull their pants up. I know there is fashion, but this has NEVER seemed like fashion, to be seeing people's underwear, and young men having to hold their crotch to keep their pants from falling around their ankles. It is assumed this has some background in gangsters, but what is so cool about your pants hanging off???? It's just silly to me. The kids have other fashion which isn't my taste, but it's understandable, I had things I liked when I was young my parents did not
