Does anyone think that the Queen had her doctor kill the prostitutes in whitechapel? What is your theory on who he was?

The movie "From Hell" was just a fantasy. There are no actual facts in the movie, besides the base story. Frederick Aberline was not an opium addict, the Masons had nothing to do with it, and the prostitutes did not know each other. Scotland Yard, working with John Douglas of the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit have (for some reason), narrowed the ID of Jack the Ripper to two suspects; a Jewish butcher named David Cohen, or a polish cobbler named Aaron Kosminsky. It was perhaps both of them, since the murders seemed to fit two different MOs (half were neat, half were sloppy). If it was both of them, then David (the Jew) would possibly have been the mastermind. Aaron was an unwilling participant at best, and his body was later found in the Thames river. Overwhelming guilt? Murdered by David? We will never know. There was no forensic science back then.

Patricia Cromwell is an idiot.

No, that is just an entertaining theory that works really well for a story and movie. I don't know who he was; I'm still forming my own opinion. However, I don't believe we'll ever find out.

Oh yeah, Patricia Cornwell did not solve the case. Her conclusions are based on circumstancial evidence, and would not hold up in any court of law. A lot of her theories are just guesses. She also says he would not have seen the mortuary photographs, so the women in positions that resemble the Ripper's vctims in his paintings must mean he was the Ripper. However, the was a book published in France with the photos and he lived in France, so it is very likely he either saw or owned the book, since he was interested in the case. However, many other people were also interested in the case, so it's indicative of nothing.

Believe this or not Those woman that were killed were killed for a reason. What ever the reason was it will never be known. But even in that day and time anyone that was connected to Royalty in any way was followed. And anything that could caused harm to the Throne in any manner was dealt with, in a multitude of ways.... And the Queen at that time was a very controlling person and was very capable of giving orders and taking care of her Throne. Also Jack The Ripper was never found. Some say that he was an American that left England, some say that he was in prison, While other say this and that. But the fact are when these woman were killed the killing just stopped. And it never happen again on the same scale. So your guess is as good as anyone Else's................................

Patricia Cromwell's book was a very convincing read. Do I think she's right? I don't know. But she certainly has a very plausible theory.

And in response to the question regarding Patricia Cromwell's theory: She believes that Jack the Ripper was Walter Sickert. Sickert was an artist (and the way he draws & paints women is creepy). And it looks like he was in the right places at the right times. And if what she writes is true about the mutilation of his genitalia during his childhood . . . And if her discriptions of his marriage are accurate . . . well, just read the book and see what you think.

The Queen didn't have anything to do with it, and I'll tell you why I think that: Her Majesty may not have liked prostitutes, but if she had wanted to decimate them, she was much better organized than to have sent one man to kill five women.

If you want to read a REAL thriller on this topic, look up what Roy Hazelwood has to say on the topic. He's one if the foremost criminal profilers in the world.

The Queen may have been informed BUT realized the political fallout that the commoners could not, or need not know that the Vorlans had abducted 'Jack'.

Problem was after all resolved.

No, I don't think the queen had her doctor kill the prostitutes. I believe that the research that Patricia Cornwell completed to solve this old murder is about as extensive as we can get in this era. You may want to read her book on this subject.

I consider him to be a serial killer who took "souvenirs" like so many of them do... I would think the person was either a butcher of some sort or had some knowledge of medical procedures. I don't think they were some prominent person of means. They had the ability to fit in with their surroundings and didn't draw attention to themself.

Hang on, I need to quit laughing at the Mel Gibson joke.

Ok, I read a book about this once. I think the real killer was a doctor, but can't remember his name now. It might be the same one you are referring to in your question.
