He's a pervert. Plain and simple. He walks out side (and we're in the middle of town by the way) in nothing but a thong. He's even come over to where I'm walking my dog and talked to me while wearing it. I always see him with a ton of alcohol (and thats illegal here, we're a dry county) and he plays his music really loud at like 3:00 in the morning. He also always seems to be staring. He moved in about two months ago and this is how its been. Should I report him? If I do, what will the police do? Thanks for the advice!

I would call the non emergency line and ask to speak to someone about some issues you have and for some advice as to whether or not his behavior merits an official complaint.

Unless there is some city ordinance against wearing thongs, it is not illegal to do that, but probably pretty disturbing. As for the alcohol and the music, you would have to call the police while he is in the middle of the act for them to do anything, which will probably only amount to a warning. You can try asking him politely to tone down his music and to dress more appropriately, but who wants to approach a creepy dude in a thong and ask him that? If your neighborhood has a homeowner's association or he has deed restrictions from certain activities (mortgages/deeds are public record and you can look them up usually online or at the county courthouse) than you have cause for legal action. If his behavior is that atrocious, you can call the sherriff's office or the city police, but please do not use 911 unless it is an emergency. Or, you can pay a kid to kick him in the balls while he is wearing his thong.

Call the police the next time he's playing loud music, mention the alcohol and the fact that he makes you very uncomfortable when he has repeatedly approached you in his underwear.
He may be mentally ill. He may be a pervert. Maybe he's both.
Better to be safe than sorry.
Is there a landlord in the mix somewhere you could notify?
You may need to move..sounds extreme, but you never know -the guy could be dangerous..he's definitely a weirdo, and while not all weirdos are dangerous..alot of them are.
Start documenting all of his creepy behaviors.
Talk to your neighbors - maybe hes creeping out someone else..it's highly likely.

Document his behavior. Dates and times. If you can videotape it, even better. Call the community's police department and ask to speak to an officer about a concern that you have. Tell the officer exactly what you have told me and ask for their best suggestion.
To answer your question: YES. He is only one step away from carrying this fantasy of his into the realm of reality: assault. The alcohol means he is unpredictable. Have you researched his name on the offender's database in your area?
It is also possible that the man is suffering from a mental or emotional disorder and unable to cope with his surroundings. It's possible that this is a desperate cry for help.
BE SAFE, and speak to the neighbors about the situation. Many, many heartaches could be avoided if neighbors were simply more aware of the ding dongs in their neighborhood.

I would report him. I don't know what exactly the police will do though. they will probably keep a watch out on the house, since usually they can not take any legal action without proof, or unless he has specifically done something to offend you or hurt you. But it sounds as if they can and will do something, even if they see him and tell him at least that he has to put some clothes on to come outside. I don't know too much about the alcohol situation in a dry county, but they might be able to do something about that as well. Good luck!

Before you report him, take some video of the guy in action and send it in to America's Funniest Video. There's no reason you can't share a drunk man in a thong with the rest of the world. Besides, you may even make a little money if you win, which will compensate you for the vision you will have burned into your memory for the rest of your life. Ewwww! Sorry, just trying to find some humor in it....report him...the sooner the better, especially if there are children in the neighborhood.

Are you close to your other neighbors? If so, you may have a neighborhood watch committee. You may very well place that call to the police, only to find that you are the hundredth time they have heard the same story and still do nothing. Really, the man is covered (barely) and not breaking the law in hs own yard. The music might be your salvation, call it in as a noise violation. You don't want to be responsible for not reporting his lewd conduct and have someone be abused by him. Good luck and lock your doors.

From a individual who's sitting at a working laptop or computer miles faraway from any effects that would come from this, i'd say - specific, checklist him. it would be detrimental if something undesirable went down and you get blamed for no longer announcing something. On a extra own notice, it is going to consume you up interior in case you place off making the alternative early. purely comprehend which you would be able to no longer bypass incorrect with doing the spectacular subject (you are able to no longer bypass incorrect with the certainty). it relatively is going to in all probability be a alleviation. purely ascertain that in case you DO finally end up reporting this, you assert precisely what you observed, and don't stick in assertions. in case you probably did no longer see them doing it, you mustn't assume they have been (for all you comprehend, the guy would be telling the certainty, yet that's no longer so you might come again to a call). All you will desire to declare is that that's what you observed and it issues you. stable luck guy.

I definately think that you should contact someone in law enforcement because it's so not right for him to walk down the street in a thong where there could be little kids that can see this. And I also think you should take some pics of him and show the police so they will believe you.

Yes, but first take footage in camera so the police have proof of his wrongs. Next report him to the non-emergency police, anonomysly. Tell them he broke the fallowing laws:
--Un-decind exporsure (although the cops will certanly find him wierd, I don't think theres a law against that)
--Being in-toxicated in a dry county
--Disturbence of peace
Hope this helps.

At the very least you should file a police report. If this guy is committing a crime by having alcohol in a "dry county", then maybe the police will get involved. But at the very least, let them know that there is a problem. Who knows what this guy is going to do next.
