The way people seem to rebel against what we call Christanity. You would think they were being asked to cut off their heads. What is the big problem with the teaching of Christ as a lifestyle? Plus from my studies religions of all kinds seem harder?

i have seen so many christians say to repent and yor sins are done away with but then the sam people say oh but judas is in hell. when he repented take this verse

Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

jesus also said that his 12 would watch over the the 12 tribes this was while judas was still with them so do u think u made a bad choice by saying judas was in hell when jesus clearly states he is in heaven and one more piont without judas we have no saviur do we

I hang out with alot of people who are "true punks, goths, emos etc..." then I hang out with people who like that kinda music, but dress is I guess "normal" clothes, they dont try to be punk but just like the music....then I know ppl who dress punk, listen to it, but dont know anything about their culture and way of life....

I've noticed that some people who are Italian but are asked if they are Jewish (because they "look" Jewish, whatever that means) get really offended by this. Why?

Anyone of Italian or Italian American heritage, do you get asked if you are Jewish (for example if someone doesn't know your name, or if your name isn't obviously Italian)?

Do you get annoyed or angry? If so, why?

I bring this up because my best friend's name is Marcella (pretty obviously Italian) and she always wears a cross. A saleslady (she had give her a credit card) asked her if she was Jewish last week while we were shopping & she freaked out! She kept saying don't they see my cross/ my name, and so on.

Can anyone enlighten me as to why she would be so annoyed and also anyone Italian has this ever happened to you & how did you react.

Every body knows what they are, they're not a secret. Almost everyone has sucked on them in their first few months of life. What would make primative man or woman decide boobs need to be covered?? Why would some people take offense to seeing boobs? Why in some cases is it OK to see boobs as long as the nipple is covered??

I'm 20 years old. I have an attachment problem with my mom. I miss her so much. I moved out last year (at 19) in my own apartment....that last 6 months and I was so depressed and crying everynight cause I missed my mom/home so much. I finally moved home, but then wanted to move out with my boyfriend....it had been about 8 months since I last moved back home and in July I moved in with my boyfriend and his brother...well, I'm starting to get really homesick again, excpet this time I have my boyfriend to comfort me....how long does this last!!?? I feel so sad because I want to be little again, but I know I'm an adult and you have to move on...but it seems like a process I'll never get over. I've want kids my whole life, but now all of a sudden I'm scared because I don't think my kid's childhood will be like mine and I'll be sad I wasn't like my mother. I miss her so much! I still visit her, but it's not the same....how do you heal this?

How can you tell if a man is preaching God's will instead of his own? How can you accept the Holy Spirit within another man and not within yourself? Even without the Bible, we still have the gift to uncover God's will or whomever's will that leads to clarification and consciousness.

While I have told my dad and stepmom, I haven't told my mom. I've had an engagement band for a while now, and I think that to her, she might already think that its the commitment band, when its not.
I'm not sure how to tell her, since her feelings will be hurt that she wasn't the first to know. ( She WAS the first one I TRIED to tell, but her initial reaction was that I was an embarassment to her, and that my family wouldn't love me, etc ) They're more supportive now- it was the initial shock.
We really don't want to hurt anyone, but we want it to be a private ceremony, . . . I just don't know if I should tell her before- which will hurt her, or after ( almost pretending its totally spontaneous. )
I also don't want to give her ( or anyone) the impression that we aren't taking this seriously, or that the vows are taken lightly- I could use advice from anyone who's gone through anything similiar.
