A friend of mine and I went to the Junior Prom together in high school even though we were not "girl friend and boy friend" because we both wanted to go to the prom. We had a great time. We never had another date together, but remained friends and see each other the our reunions now.

Who pays and who provides transportation depends on how the date was set up. Most times the person who does the asking is considered the host and pays, but not always.

It is alright to go out on a date with girls who have some interests in you. You treat them with respect and take the opportunity to know them socially better. Sex on such dates however, must be out of the question. Sex should only be with someone you truly have some concerns and and respect for. But always make known your intention, in a romantic way.
