Why not a reward for a long time but not eternal?
Do you think that god needs to create another several million of unchangeable objects after full destruction of this planet for eternity?
How the ppl in heaven are will be different from GOD? Once in heaven GOD can’t touch them right?

Ppl refering to bible. Well i can show you 100% error in the bible and most christians admit that bible is not a word for word so why do you think the part where it says eternity is not wrong?

I am a Cristian and belong to the true Church the one that Jesus bought with his own blood; The Church of Christ. I do belive in what the Bible says and there is eternal life as God said in the Bible. God created everying thing on this earth and when He ends this earth all would have filled it purpose; And there for there is no reason why any more creating will take place.
The Question about can't touch them right? The answer is no- God can touch you any time He wants. It may not be like touching one another as we do on the earth.
HE IS ALL POWERFULL.
We were created to serve God and the reward is eternal life with Him in Heaven.

Christians believe that they are put on this Earth as a test by God to see if their love for him is pure. Therefore this life is meaningless, the money, the cars everything is meaningless God uses this world to test through tough situations. So when you die and you go to Heaven you are rewarded for the good you have done and your devotion to God. In Heaven is where you see Jesus, God and stay in plissful paradise for eternity. If Christians didn't believe Heaven was eternal they wouldn't believe God or Jesus will be there. It also says in the Bible that to enter Heaven you must go through Jesus! That is how eternal it is. As for your first question you cant expect some good natured person who has followed the word of God all his/her life to die see God, and God says' "For your goodness you have been rewarded a planet but not for eternity, now go!"

The Bible said that heaven is eternal. But you are on to something. Logically I do not think that Heaven is an eternity and that beings they do die after a long time that seem to be forever in human terms. Other religions believe that heaven is not a permanent and eternal place.

Starting with the last question first....God is touching them if they are in heaven. People in heaven are different from God because He created people to be different from Him, and that's a factor even after our bodily death. God can do whatever He wants, whenever He wants, because He's God. His needs exist out of His own desire. Eternity is a state of existence, just as time is a state of existence. Time is a bubble inside of eternity, you could say, so a long time doesn't exist in eternity, only eternity exists in eternity.
We think heaven is eternal because we believe the promises that it is, given to us by our God.

Because God does not lie. Understand this. Even though God has given us free will to think anyway that we choose, we could never begin to comprehend what God is or how He thinks. We are here by the grace and mercy of God, nothing else. It is faith that makes us believe what the Bible says and trust in Him. Just try Him. What have you got to lose? Other than Eternal Life? Please don't wait. Life is not promised to us.

heaven is eternal because god wants to be with us forever...he loves us. he also gave us the power of our own free will, which caused the destruction of the earth...but we had to learn it for ourselves or we wouldn't have really understood free will. the people in heaven are just as we are here on earth - god is still our god and those in heaven will continue to worship him. in heaven, god can physically touch you - no problem. but if you're talking about god doing bad things to us...there would be no reason for god to do bad things to us because those in heaven have chosen to accept and follow god and his teachings.

Because it is . Imagine unending bliss . Your body being changed from corruptable to incorruptable . You won't need to eat food to survive , no sickness , no pain , no tears . And to be bathed in God's glorious light instead of the sun , mmmm......
