There will be teenagers bombarding every section with ridiculous questions and answers no matter what. I'm not saying that they all do, just the majority of them. There's nothing you can do about it, sorry. I wish there were an Adults Only sections which teens could somehow NOT access no matter what.
Actually, I think SOME teens are more mature than others and should be allowed to access the site. I know I was mature as a teen. I mean sure, I did act silly and stupid alot, but overall, emotionally and physically, I was pretty mature.

Good luck.

No, it's a nice thought but would a perfect world without hate and war, it's not going to happen!

Besides there no real way of keeping kids and teens out of normal or adult areas as most will just come in anyways, some are indeed childish, just want to have fun or make trouble, some want to feel "grown-up" while others are actually more mature and can contribute.

Just look at anything else in society, you ban it or make it taboo and people just want it more. People are attracted to what they can't have.

One possible way would be the go the route of MSN Chatrooms and make it that you have to pay or at least have a credit card to verify your an adult... Although so many adults don't even have one, I know I don't and couldn't get one with bad credit and would be pissed if I have to have one to prove I'm an adult in order to use many things on the net. Although right now is no other way to screen out the underage and children.

I agree with you but it depends on who you consider "young peeps". I am 18 (an adult but nonetheless still a "teen") and am also sick of the lack of brains that some people have on this site. Even some older users have communication issues that are worse than the young people. I grew up around a lot of adults and very few children and learned how to communicate as an adult at a young age. I am also wary of the "young people" asking such naive questions and giving even more naive answers. [sigh] What is this world coming to?

Ditto. Hand me an oar because I'm in the same boat. Perhaps Yahoo will set up age specific categories somehow, but if not then I suppose I'll learn to scroll more effectively and efficiently. I mean no offense either & I especially adore to see the young'uns asking and answering thoughtfully because there's some really bright bulbs around here.....but the communication really is just.....different for the most part.

Yes there should be, I havent seen any though.
I am 14, and sometimes I see questions that should be like +18.

Oh how I wish there was, it gets old trying to weed out adults from kids.

I wish. And a "non-prude" one as well, so the uptight born-agains would stop reporting everyone in sight...
