I believe in a creator of some sort, however I cant not see how he is a personal god like the bible says. The word personal means close and upfront. If god was a personal god, he would be here among us, down upon the earth where we could see him, talk to him and worship him face to face. He wont be a personal god until after this world and then only to those who make it to heaven. Am I right or wrong?

Followers of all the religions believe in miracle type instances, which otherwise are unbelievable in the real world. They just assume that what is written in the book is true and beyond criticism. On the basis of that they form their beliefs but neither can prove those nor feel the need for its proof.

but I feel very intimidated by my lack of Christian upbringing, and my ignorance. Every church I have tried to go to, I feel so out of place, and uncomfortable, and (please don't laugh), I am terrified someone will ask me to pray, and I would be embarrassed because I don't know how. Any suggestions how to get over these feeling? I really want to get my kids involved in a church.

(I'm 17 and she's 16 but only because my birthday was yesterday. She turns 17 in 3 weeks.)

I've been with the same beautiful, wonderful girl for four years now -we were friends in preschool and started dating at 13- but now she wants to have sex and I'm not sure about it.

I guess it's not a typical guy thing but I'm really happy to just snuggle on a couch and go to movies and the beach and stuff. We french kiss a lot and I really love her but I think I want to wait. The first time only happens once and I want to make sure I'm ready.

Then yesterday she said she wanted to give me oral but I said no, I didn't want her to and she gave me this really weird look but said okay.

Am I being a sissy about this? Should I go out and get some condoms and do what she wants me to do?

I don't think our relationship is in danger but this has been straining it lately.

Why are groups of blacks so loud in public places? Why do they (when in a group) enter an establishment and demand to be noticed...are these folks not taught any public conduct manners?

I just don't understand why they would think anyone is remotely interested in their conversations, yet the general public is forced to listen because they are always so loud.

Ok, so I've said before that the part of Christianity that I hate the most is the idea that good people who just so happen to be non-Christian will go to hell, while someone who kills and rapes and does awful things his entire life yet converts right before he dies is forgiven and goes to heaven. I just can't bring myself to believe in any god who would do that to people, and not admit someone into either paradice or damnation based on their merits as a human being.

I've been told more than once that "just because you don't like it, dosn't mean it's not true." Which got me to thinking; If someone proved to me beyond a doubt that the Christian god was real, and that he really does throw good non-Christians into hell and let bad Christians into heaven, I still would not worship him. Such a cruel god dosn't deserve my worship.

What do you think of this? Can you really blame me?

The phone calls have stopped, the email also and letters. I only have my cat here with me. all family members except my younger son is here in the same town. He call 2 X a week and comes over every 3 weeks. I am not in good health myself, so I can't just get out and about the way most people can. I am still crying but not as much as I was. I don't know where to turn or even what to do, We spent so much time together and now I am alone and feel empty inside and so very lost. My heart is so very empty, and the nights and weekend are so very lonely. I find it so hard to even eat my diiner at the table any longer. We use to eat and just sit and talk for so very long, now he is gone and I am lost. Where do I go from here. No one can seem to answer this question.
