I haven't heard there was a problem with people stealing Bibles. Where did you get this information? What are the percentages? I don't find stealing anything funny.

Who steals a BibleI? There use to be free Bibles in med to low cost hotels and no one cared if people took them, The Gideons would just replace them.

I guess for a souvenier. I don't know either. If they're Christians they already have a Bible, and if they're not, they don't need one. I find it quite funny too.

Please don't e-mail me it is just something I HEARD! I would never do it! But the paper in inexpensive Bibles is very thin, kind of like cigarette papers and at times can be used for rolling "joint's" .
