ALTHOUGH there is no scientific proof there is proof it's called the bible read it

If the forth commandment says to remember the sabbath day and keep it holy... now lets ponder this Jesus died on a friday (good friday) and was risen on sunday (easter sunday) so even in death he observed the saturday day of rest.... if we observe all the rest of the commandments why do we say that the forth one doesnt apply...

This just irritates the crap out of me. You can smite this and Bible-thump that all you want, but in the end you know as much of God as anyone else. So get off your high-horse and join the rest of us in reality. In case you haven't noticed, you guys are making survival very difficult for lots of people. Religion kills.

When you are rich and beautiful everyone wants to be you or have everything that you have. They do not love you. When you are poor, and look like everyone else, no body cares to bother. Life in the positive or negative light...ends in sorrow, for both adore a materialistic life. As long as you are addicted to materialistic things, you will be under the influence of God's so-called Satan. Once you realize that materialistic things are worthless, you will be able to see how awful goodness is. For life is hollow in either direction. For example Heaven or Hell, both ideas of man. For a perfect being made out of love would never create a hell. Then if God is a lie, what are we, what is this world, are we alone? The answer is we are alone, to keep from crying we made up a God to save us from our tears, to keep from being evil, we built an imaginary world of goodness, but no matter how hard we try it is in our nature to sin. All we really have is each other. The cycle continues.

I NEED HELP UNDERSTANDING!

Please try to explain why these thing are happening and where (if any) are the christian equivalents TODAY?

1) Muslims killing muslims in Iraq? Not just terrorist and Iraqi police, but Shiite vs Sunni, etc EVERYDAY they kill each other???

2) There is a long past, but there was peace in Lebanon since 2000. Hezbollah attacked Israel for 3 months before they returned fire. Why do muslims still support Hezbollah?

3) With Taqiya in the Quran, how can non-muslims trust Muslims?

4) Why can't Muslims pray to Allah and ask him to help them believe (proof) this is considered insulting. Why can't they pray with a little dirt on them, or without shaving body hair, or after touching a pig. What if you really need to pray to him but the rituals aren't done??? He won't hear his people? In what ways (exactly) is Allah loving (uniquely form others)?

about why Christians seem to be "holy rolling, bible thumpers" who cram religion down your throat? Well, as a Christian, I will tell you why I am like that, and why there are others on here who are the same.
#1) The following is a definition of religion:

b : the service and worship of God or the supernatural; commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance
2 : a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices
3 archaic : scrupulous conformity : CONSCIENTIOUSNESS
4 : a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith

A non-believer does not believe in the existence of a higher power, nor do they worship God or the supernatural. Yet they are in the religion and spirituality section. Either you are here to A: learn about different religions or B: to stir up trouble for believers.(i.e. Insults, cursing, mis-quoting the Bible). We are here discussing our religion and spreading the teachings of our religion. You are here spreading no religious beliefs and some of you are spreading hate. Even if there were Hindus, Muslims or Buddhists here, at least they do have a religion that they are promoting, even if it is different from what Christians believe.

#2) We are commanded in OUR Bible to spread the word of God

Matthew 28:18-20: And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of age. You ask why we believe that all who speak against God and Jesus, saying that they do not believe in him, will go to Hell? Because Jesus said so.

Mark 3:28-29: Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of man, and whatever blasphemies they may utter, but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation.

You have asked why is it that we believe that a murderer who asks forgiveness and is saved, but God will not allow non-believers and Atheists into Heaven? Because Jesus told us so.

John 3:16-18: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

You use OUR Bible, which you claim not to believe is true, to try to dispute Christian beliefs, and most of the time are either mis-quoting them or mis-interpreting them. We are not spreading hate, in fact we are spreading love, because if we didn’t love our fellow man, even the ones who are putting us down, then we would leave you be and not even try to save you from an eternity in Hell. Even if you don’t believe in the existence of God or Jesus, Hell or Heaven, at least we care enough to not want you to end up in Hell.

That is why we are so passionate about our religious convictions.

Imagine a parent telling their 3-year-old child, “If you are good today and don’t spill your juice, put your toys away, take your nap without a fuss, and smile all day long, then you get to spend every day, for the rest of your life at Disneyland. If you don’t then you have to spend the rest of your days sitting in the corner thinking about what you did wrong”. No sane, imperfect, finite minded, parent would pull a stunt like that. So how come you “other Christians” believe that God, who is perfect, and filled with love would do something like that? It’s just plain WHACKED I tell ya!

Do You Know Falun Gong? Do you know Falun Dafa?

Do you know thousands of people are being tortured and killed in China because of something similar to Tai Chi?

Do you know their organs are being harvested and sold?

I don’t call my self goth but I do dress like it; I just don’t really see why people have to label things all the time. But it will take forever to explain! To me it’s a way of expression and how one chooses to see the world and among other things. Being goth or punk doesn’t have to do with worshiping devil. Even though people will find some goths that aren’t Christians. This will clarify the subculture. “For people with the gothic personality, their involvement is not merely a rebellious phase, but part of their inner self. One of my friends just got a brazilian gf. He says he likes her (physically) but doesn't know much about her. Therefore I'm doing a little investigation for him...lol Do you know what kind of people they are? Are they players or are they trustworthy?
