3 And because my words shall hiss forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible.
4 But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people. And what cthank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from them? Yea, what do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the travails, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles?
10 Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my awords; neither bneed ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written.

unquestionably, you need to exchange your wording basically fairly: Hebrew Bible Roman Catholic Bible Protestant Bible The Jewish scholars complete the version of the Hebrew Bible in in regards to the third century. That textual content textile is blanketed in the two the RC and Prot. Bible. The order of the books is diverse, because of the fact of underlying assumptions. The Christian Bible (the recent testomony) wasn't somewhat nailed down until eventually almost the 10th century or so. After that, it replaced into locked in. This replaced into achieved in a team of Church Councils. this text is a similar in the two the RC and Prot. Bible, and the old testomony is distinctly lots a similar in the two of those Bibles, different than that the order may well be somewhat diverse. the only distinction between the RC and Prot. Bibles is the presence of the Apocrypha -- countless books that have been unknown in Hebrew, yet have been blanketed quickly in Greek language translations of the old testomony that have been in everyday use around the time of the early Church. That Greek translation of the old testomony (referred to as the Septuagint) replaced into so everyday (maximum Jews did no longer at that element undergo in strategies the thank you to communicate or study Hebrew anymore) that whenever you locate the old testomony quoted contained in the recent testomony, that's consistently the Septuagint textual content textile they're quoting.

Read it, researched it, researched Joseph Smith, found not one fact in the whole tale that could be substantiated. I suggest you do the same. Example: Book of Abraham = Egyptian Book of the Dead, a common ancient funerary text, commonly found entombed with mummies as direction to the afterlife. These scrolls have nothing to do with the biblical Abraham as claimed by Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon talks of the following existing in the New World: Wheat, Steel, Chariots, Horses,Wheels, Armor, Great Cities, written texts and on and on. None of these things existed in the Americas before the coming of Columbus, there is no evidence that they did. As far as submarines existing during the Bronze Age, give me a break, do you believe this stuff? Or am I giving you some insight you never had before? The LDS folks as a whole are a great bunch, I guess even nice people can believe in just about anything.

Actually I totally miss what the point of that was and I missed the question. another attempt to say that the Bible is only accurate if your Bishops and Prophets translate it and to say that it is ok to have the BoM. nope, sorry not buying that one.
