If so, please share them with me. I'm constantly surrounded by manipulative people who betray or try to take advantage of me. I need protection and guidance on how to deal with this. If scriptures have not helped bring you some comfort, what has helped you get through times like this?

Obviously atheists are not "religious" or "spiritual". Do they just want to dispute and try to belittle religious questions? If they don't believe in any kind of religion, why do they even care what is discussed here? Are they looking for more answers than atheism provides?

i just started a jod where i'm one of the few white people (i know you may think that's wierd but it's true) but i'm not racist. but i also know that i don't fit in and i want to make friends. how do i go about that without coming across too (i don't know how to phrase it).

i don't want people to make fun of me. i'm more shy than anything else but i can't afford to lose this job. i want to be excepted and not have everyone thinking i'm being nice just because they are a different race. i want to be taken seriously. i'm a very nice person and i want people to see me as i truly am.

what can i do to make friends without offending anyone.

The products of Christianity are the BTK killer, Charles Manson, The Green River Killer, Jeffrey Dahmer, etc. What good is it, as a religion? Probably that group of soldiers who raped and killed that 14-year old girl in Iraq recently, were all from Christian households. Christian leaders have more than their share of child molesters. Seriously, this religion seems ineffective.

I'm just curious, how much time of your day do you spend "thinking" of religion. I mean take into account, tv, shopping, cleaning the house, earning a living, taking your kids to the ballgame/beach/school, volunteering, spending time with friends etc. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being rarely and 10 being always, how do you rate and why?

My parents are Hindu but I believe that a God does exist in a diestic kinda way and if u live a good life u go to heaven and if u dont then sucks for u... Now all my Christian buddies tell me that I need to accept Jesus as my Lord and what not to go to heaven. What if right when I am about to die I say "Jesus, I believe" but my whole life I didnt and I just lived a good Christian life without any major sins... Will I go to heaven??

I have seen these flags hanging at some residences and churches. Peace is in english, the hebrew letters for shalom is on there, it looks like there is peace in a mediterannian language, etc. I have looked on many different websites for peace flags and this particular one is not shown. I am an African-American lesbian whio isn't anywhere near being wealthy. Gays get a lot of discrimination against them, but I just try to ignore it because if I wasn't gay, people from all walks of life would still discriminate against me, possibly because I'm black, or a woman, or poor.People will always find some way to hate you if you are different, no matter what it is, because bigots will always exist. This is another reason why I have pride in being gay, even though I get a lot of negativity because it only makes me stronger! What else in your life do or would you be hated for even if you weren't gay?
