The products of Christianity are the BTK killer, Charles Manson, The Green River Killer, Jeffrey Dahmer, etc. What good is it, as a religion? Probably that group of soldiers who raped and killed that 14-year old girl in Iraq recently, were all from Christian households. Christian leaders have more than their share of child molesters. Seriously, this religion seems ineffective.

Clusium you fool. I said Manson and Hitler were raised as Christians, which they were. Manson read the Bible regularly as an adult. He was raised by his grandmother, a strict Christian. Manson was even a model student at Father Flanagan's Boys Town.

Its obvious - Christianity isn't much of a help.
Time and time again, preachers talk on about living according to God's word and not doing sin - yet do Christians even know what sin is? Or how exactly one is to live one's life before God?
Christianity is very ineffective.

Even if a lie is repeated a thousand times, it will never become the truth. For starters, Hitler was raised by his mother (a Jew). Manson quoted from Revelations, but never became a Christian. Al Capone and the rest whom you mention have led lives that demonstrate they were not Christians. Criminals hunt for victims where they are easiest to find, and only a person who is choosing to be ignorant will attribute all the ills of society to a single group or sector of that society. Society as a whole is responsible for the ills it possesses.

Close all the malls and stores and markets, and shoplifting and pickpocketing will end. However, if you close all the churches, the sexual predators will just hunt somewhere else. On the other hand, statistically you would probably find fewer predators within the church than outside the church, because they do try to police their own.

The reason it seems that way is because the millions of people throughout history that didn't make it into the history books by running homeless shelters, soup kitchens, orphanages, sanctuaries for battered women, hospitals, schools, and countless other charities that have benefited mankind for 2000 years weren't as interesting to read about.

larry,
I really don't think that you know history that well. And I also believe that you have a singular concept of what Christianity is.

Christians are sinners who trust God and have recieved grace from Him by faith in Jesus Christ.

All other assumptions by you are just that, assumptions.

I think that it would do you good to understand basic Christianity first. Then ask questions upon that information.

You sem to be someone who has heard a lot of things, but haven't done any research.

Good luck with that. If you really want to know about Christianity, e-mail me. It might save you a lot of embarassment later.

Adolf Hitler was an occultist & Charles Manson was a satanist.

Your post here is moot.
