I've never been impressed with Kansas. The state ranges from hick farmers with a second grade education to Johnson County snobs who associate wealth with worth who are very rude, boring and look down on others. Get out of Kansas.

Hold UP, Kansas bashers. Just like I'm sure not everyone from NJ says "fuggedaboutit" and not everyone from Arkansas marries their relatives, there is some really bad stereotyping being thrown around in here about my next-door state. There are plenty of intelligent people in KS. My own KS people experience is with Johnson County snobs who feel that wealth = worth. I think they claim to be Christian, etc., because that helps them fit in, but they are probably spiritually dead (oh here I am, stereotyping!). Anyway, I think at least 50% of Kansans are downright ashamed of this sort of stupid behavior. Wish I could say it was more, but I'm being honest.

I am from Kansas (dont jump the gun, im not going to freak out on you) and I understand what you are saying, totally. Luckily for me, I was born in Lawrence Kansas, A.k.a. hippie capital of the world full of nothing but marijuana induced liberals. And we have the most gay people per cappa. Too bad I moved from Lawrence to Kansas City, because me being bisexual would be way more accepted back in KS!

Yeah, I read that story a day or two ago. I absolutely could not believe it. When I hear about this kind of crap, it only serves to strengthen my cynicism and weaken my hope for mankind to ever redeem itself as a species.

Wow, that's terrible. Sheesh. Where is the gay community or just people who don't have their head up their asses? That "Man of god" just makes it worse. Lets see, Nazis, a group who wanted to kill a ton of people, or pretty colors... yep that's the same thing.
